Wise bank account for US LLC?

Hello Everyone! I'm looking to open a bank account for my USA LLC. Is wise a good option to go? I'm not a US resident. I need USA bank account, so I can hold money in that account and save high currency conversion cost.

Wise debit card is not available in my country. If I open account in the name of my USA LLC, would I be able to get a wise card?

As far as I know, you can withdraw funds from your Wise account directly into your local bank account. Then carry about the card of your local bank account or some dollar card in my opinion. The Wise card isn't a requirement and not super duper necessary.

So it is still very much useful even if your business or LLC falls outside of the jurisdiction that Wise supports for their card.

Wise is never an issue. I even prefer it to Payoneer and I have cash out funds from it over and over. And yes I have an LLC in US as a non-resident.

Yes. I have an LTD and a Wise account - with physical cards for the business. The thing is that you need to have a chat with the guys from Wise from your personal before adding the BIZ there.

They will send the card to your LLC address, and from there you can ship it to your home country.


Also, you can get a virtual card too. if you just want to use it for online payments only.

if you compare the price for incorporation in usa and uk you will see big price difference.

UK or USA wise have no difference in functions.

I don’t have the source as it is in the email. I am just a Wise user. They sent me email that they will increase. If you are a wise user, latest price increase was for Hungary right? Check your emails. Plus, I used both methods: Paypal and Wise (Poland).

Method I used in Wise is I put US money from a non-US card then send to my local bank. On the other hand, I sent directly to a friend’s Paypal then withdraw to a bank.

Old Wise: $200 + $3
New Wise: $200 + $30
Paypal: $200 + $5

wise with uk ltd is best option for you because uk ltd with wise is low cost and us llc with wise account are expensive so better is register uk ltd then make wise off course you will get physical or virtual debit card

I applied for wise last month and their verification process is very slow for me. They haven't even responded to my support ticket yet. I was registering for US LLC (non-resident). At this point, I don't know if someone can recommend any alternatives.

Wise is good for smaller volumes of transactions and they’re business flow bumpy. If you’re looking to just hold currency and convert with ease when you desire my suggestion is cash management accounts or a simple brokerage account

Which country yo belong to? If you're from Europe or UK somewhere, try opening up a WISE account in your region for your business. Once the local business bank account has been approved by WISE, then add other currency bank accounts. Let's say if you have Euro Account got opened initially, you can add USD, GBP, and a few extra accounts and start receiving the funds.

For that, you don't need to be US citizen or need to register LLC in the USA. Try this method and it will work.

It all depends on what country you’ll be based in for modern cash management accounts, but CMA’s for Latin America: bbva, North America: fidelity, Canada and the Caribbean’s: scotia, UK:Bnp, natwest

I don’t think wise is useful after 30k usd monthly, most commercial platforms will deny you services after that amount. My suggestion is cash management accounts and treasury management accounts in combination
