Scrapebox Best Practices - Enough is Enough!

a tool is only as good as the person that is using it.

All i can say to that is Amen!

You can make your money back on the tool in a day, i know several people who have done that. Heck i know one guy who made his money back before he even bought it, he lined up some customers for links blasts and collected their money, bought the tool with their cash then done their blasts and got a free tool.

Anyhow Black Hat in general is all about experimentation, thinking out of the box, and taking what you learned back to the drawing board to refine your system then redo it better. ScrapeBox is no different, if you think and learn you will *ahem* have a blast. :)

Off the top of my head, how about something like..

Keyword Searched: Photoshop

Name: Adobe John
Email: [email protected]
Site: yoursite.com
Comment: Hi, i was just doing some browsing around at work and wondering which other Adobe products do you use?

What's that, someone from Adobe? People will be excited someone important commented on their little blog and approve it without question. What do you put on yoursite.com? Throw up a simple biography page with a photo of a 50yo guy saying you work for a major software company, you have 3 kids and a cat. As long as it has no commercial intent, tons of blog owners click through before approving.

What then? Wait a few weeks for the dust to settle and comments to be approved, then switch the page out and start selling OEM copies of Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc and lap up the links.

Anyhow my comment and example was intentionally ordinary, because people will just copy it verbatim anyhow but the idea is think beyond an @gmail.com address and "Hi nice post" with a link directly to your debt consolidation blog.

some people are just too fucking stupid to use tools intelligently :D
that is partly why you haven't seen many of my decent cracks and patches released recently because the n00bs just fuck everything right up for everyone else.

oh and just for the record ScrapeBox is a fucking awesome little tool, so good that I actually paid for multiple licenses of it because for the price it just rocks and for that reason alone its not even worth spending the time to crack it.

FEAR

I noticed your app store had been in hibernation. Thanks FEAR. :)

Scrapebox speed is superb and the url/name/email/comment spinning is a major plus for this great tool.

But like everyone says newbies post shit comments, and the owner becomes wise and strengthens the old spam filter. I mean several times and this was definitely from the same stupid fucker, ive seen great long lists of html code for their keyword rich links in just one comment because the blog comments dont accept html coded links, so everybody can see that its a spam attempt.

Screams bloody newbie.

Yeah we are still around doing what we do mate and most likely always will be, just maybe not in public so often ;)

Anyway I appreciate your work big time and think you deserve be paid for it, to be honest I am still staggered at the low price for the features, support and all the updates you get.
Anyway very nice work mate :)

if you have a blog you can see legit comment poster email addresses. i use those so it shows their gravatar.

I've definately seen this a few times. I didn't think such stupidity existed but live and learn I guess.
He musta been usin the RapeBox (TM) version :dunce:

A lot of good info has been given out by BHW members with extensive scrapebox experience so I won't
repeat it and go on about how to spin a comment.

I'll add this though: Some of you guys really need to learn patience and accept that sometimes you just
cannot speed certain things up. I've seen posts from guys who bought scrape box, posted to a few
hundred blogs and then 3-4 hours later are back asking why their backlinks/serps haven't increased yet.

Anyone who has ever built a site knows how long it can take google to revisit and index your main site
and deeper pages, especially if its not a high PR, high traffic, or frequently updated site. This takes
anywhere from a few days for the best blogs (which lets face it, you probably won't be getting your
comments to stick onto) to sometimes 2-3 weeks for your average "OMG I love Twilight so much!!11"
junk blogs.

And I can't imagine why anyone would bother to load their succesful comments into an RSS feed and
ping the shit out of it, it's kinda like shoplifting at a store and then walking around the mall with the
security tags still attached just so you can show off your new clothes. Let google spider/index them
naturally and you won't have to worry about any possible negative effects(if any) from getting 500
backlinks overnight.

A little common sense in this business goes a looong way

This Yukinari84 impresses the hell out of me.

To many people repeatedly babble nonsense in here.

When I drop in, this guy is one of a few I search for to see what he sez.

Great post and thanks again

I run a pretty high profile do-follow blog, and I get a lot of comments....a shit load. I also have S box and I love the tool. But the funniest thing is seeing the amount of retard comments people are slamming out with this tool. It is so easy to spot crap comments a mile off. It makes me better at writing comments that get approved, as I know how to spot generic comments. Bottom line. Stop being retards with this tool. Your comments will not get approved. Also, when scrapping use intitle:keyword...then comment about keyword...that will help you actually write non-generic comments that will get approved.

With the birth of SB comment spam has officially evolved from

2005:- www. aerkhwe.com www. iughweigh.net www. aerjkhwre.com

2007:- www. viagra.com

2008:- www. acai-berry.info

2009 the birth of SB.......Hey man nice blog www. bettingshop.info

2010 i have been looking for this {type|kind} of {info|information} that is contained in this post. keep up the good work. Bookmarked www. getabiggermanbit.mobi...... repeat 5 time on the same blog

OK So after a pretty rough 1st day of using the program (1% comment posting) I really felt that I was doing everything right, and started getting really frustrated. I talked to Yukinari and we both agreed that I was doing things right, using enough proxies, urls, properly spun comments, etc. I kept trying, and nothing seemed to work.

Finally I just decided to rip everything down and start from the beginning. My next run after doing that I got 7% comments posted, which gave me some hope. I tweaked a setting and got 40%+ and had to stop the commenter because I didn't want to go overkill right off the bat and get any of my domains blacklisted by aksimet.

So I basically went from FAIL to VICTORY by just stripping everything down and building it back up. In doing so, I realized what my critical mistake was. I wasn't exporting the scraped url results to a .txt file and then loading that file into the bottom where you post your comments. I LOL'd when I noticed what a noobish mistake I had been making.

The moral of the story? If you are getting horrible results, make sure you are using the program correctly. Every time you scrape a new list of urls, you have to export it and then import it so that the commenter knows to use that new list of urls.

A quick note that I would like to add here is that SB is not the only backlinking tool out there.

Do not misunderstand what I am saying. I LOVE SB. Everyone knows that I think.

But I am seeing too many people getting caught up in it so much that all they are focusing on is blasting thousands of comments every day.

This is not a good way to do things IMHO.

There are many other ways to generate backlinks that should not be ignored. SB is definitely a great tool to have, but it's definitely not the only one you should use.

If you abuse and overuse a tool like SB, you will more often than not find yourself having a hard time getting good results.

How many proxies would be fine for a 1000-1500 blast??? I had reduced the fast commenter to 10 so that the blast would be slow and steady!!!

Here's another tip that I have found useful:

There are still a lot of people that want to try and go the free proxy route (I will never understand why). The free proxies being harvested by SB are being overused due to this, so they are becoming less effective.

How can you combat this?

Get a good proxy scraping tool and scrape your own proxies, and/or grab some free proxy lists. I have found that doing this will help the majority of the time.

There's a good scraper from a BHW member here:

Code:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo-tools/171486-get-proxy-scraper.html

You can also use Google to find some as well.

There are also some good lists in here, too. Just use the search function and/or Google.

If you want to use free proxies, I recommend you get your own and use those with a mixture of SB harvested proxies.

However, I will say it again, it's really worth the money to get paid proxies.

Nice tips. Right now I just use a good shared proxy list of about 200 proxies and have about 1000 emails and names that I spin along with about 50 sites. I have around 10 spinnable comments as well, so I think I am doing a pretty good job so far with being anonymous and efficient.

I'm not sure how many know about this or thought to do it but using the spin options you can spin phrases and urls. I do this with my comments and it helps to make them unique and accepted. Probably why in less than a month I went from not on the serps to ranking in the 150's.

You need to think outside the box when you're commenting on blogs.

Many people just scrape a random bunch of blogs and leave something like, "Yeah, cool blog!!" and wonder why it doesn't get accepted.

I always try to comment on something that has a following - For example, a sporting team.

I mean, if you scraped a bunch of blogs that were talking about the Lakers in some capacity, you could have a comment about them that wouldn't look that random, couldn't you?

Even if the post isn't about the Lakers specifically, so long as they're mentioned on there somewhere your comment wouldn't look like spam most of the time.

couldn't agree more. i find it amusing whenever i see blog comments along the line:

"this is cool! thanks! will come back again" and follow by a link to their ultimate make money site.

to get your comment to stick. post something that seem helpful and related to the blog post. google look out for keywords matching url to url for relevancy.

think about the relevancy discount that you will get if you post a link to your lose weight site on a site about sports car.
