Scrapebox Best Practices - Enough is Enough!

Hi,
I have been here for a few months reading and reading as I have seen, the best way to learn is to keep reading and when you feel confident enough you start to test. However I find out that there are some thing missed out or not mentioned between the lines that y I decided to ask.

-When scraping with free proxies and a slow internet connection, google never seems to harvest anything, results only come from yahoo. Why?

-How relevant should your comment/backlinks/forum profiles and anchor text really be to your niche/keyword/market? hope that makes sense.

-Say i have 10k AA blog list, how many times can/should blast that list to the same web 2.0, Articles. Just thinking of the penalties if any posting to the same blog twice. But i assume if the comments are different at the different times of commenting/posting, it wouldn't matter.

-do forum profiles get blasted by SB, or just the anchor text in profile signature? hope that makes sense.

-In footprint/custom footprint. I have a major misunderstanding with what goes where.say i have a custom footprint like:

"powered by vBulletin" "In order to proceed, you must agree with the following rules"

Would I write that In the custom footprint box, the fill in my keywords? or do I put the custom footprint in the keyword area with the keyword next to it? something like:

"powered by vBulletin" "In order to proceed, you must agree with the following rules" "Keyword" or both can be used

-Also, When I scrape/harvest urls/blogs/forums with keywords, some or most of the returned results(urls/blogs/forums) have no connection to the keyword or niche. Why is this the case. Most results are off topic

Pls will appreciate some assistance, I'm reading really, just need some answers on a few things

Thanx a bunch

On the first page, somebody mentioned reading the unofficial Scrapebox guide. Where is that? Are they referring to something here at BHW, or the one at scrapeboxfaq or something?

Also just thought I'd let everybody know you can buy 4 or 5 proxies on fiverr for five dollars.

how do you know if the proxies they are selling aren't free ones?

Having a good set of comments to spin is vital IMO. I have seen so much of the same spam over and over on my blogs, makes me laugh...

So this program is still worth getting even though its abused by retreads?

so basically for using SB, is it true that we should only use it to blast backlinks for our tier 1 backlinks, not for our money site, right?
I'm newbie in SEO so not buying SB yet because I don't know how to use it correctly.. thank u for your thread..

Can people recommend a good program for spinning comments that is shared in the forum. I have about 20+ comments for each of my websites, but it would be a ton of work to go in manually and add the {|} replacers to them all. Thanks for the help!

so with these blogs, you feel it is better to do manual posts? i was doing this last night. eventually ill see how it all turns out

Thanks for this thread..
I bought SB during the week and am impressed. I have spent hours going through this forum, other sites, youtube videos learning how it all features work and still not finished.

I have not even looked at comments part of software yet..
Hopefully over the next few weeks I'll be able to understand each feature better if not fully before attempt a blast. If i even will do one that is.

If you blasted a web2.0 such as FB page or similar, that was linked to your money site, would it show up as red flag to google? Or would it just be theweb 2.0/ fb link would be?

What is a comment worth if you dont contribute. Spamming is so 2000 because any comment that sounds like giberish or is advertising will most likelly be overseen. Cause 50 high quality comments on different blogs are better then 5000 spammy comments.

Anyone reading this: I'm not a pro, actually, extremely far form it. I blasted this software and received very little results. After looking at how I was doing things, I spent a bit of time tweaking my approach.

I wrote 50 amazing comments and spun them out using wordai turning
I started using captcha solving
I really scraped deep (level 4) using my keywords
I used the malware checker plugin
I used the OBL checker
I used separate private proxies to post (100 of them)
Then blasted away
I check links found and added to my own AA list
I rechecked found links after 1 week and added to a Gold list

After doing all those steps, my success rate went up dramatically.

So if I (a n00b) can figure this out on my own, then there should be no reason for people to be complaining about SB, which I agree is the best BH tools around.

Great thread, I couldnt agree more, I love Scrapebox and how much Ive learned just messing around with it. I love building fat lists then blasting the heck out of em.

SB is great, I am not seeing too many great results as yet, but I have only been blasting for a few weeks.......probably need to teak some of my setup....

No, the URL don't need to be working, when you are using sbox because you can enter any text in the comment website field. Therefore by spaming non existing squidoo URL and later registering it, you can get a little more security to yourself, as, if your comment will be reported as a SPAM, squido support will see that this URL don't exists at all
