Depending on what you’re trying to do, Canva might be an option. It’s a little basic but I’ve made a few popular videos with it.

I recommend adobe premiere pro. You can get that and every other adobe software in our marketplace for very cheap.

When I started editing videos, I used Windows Movie Maker, although that got discontinued years ago. I didn't stick with Movie Maker long, so for pretty much all of my video projects, I used Adobe Premiere Pro. When I was a beginner, I found it easy to work with for basic editing, and the tools for more advanced editing are there whenever you're ready.

I don’t know anything about video editing but I’ve learnt photoshop and illustrator where my mates were doing their designing courses and they used to tell me that many institutes are still teaching adobe premier pro but DA VINCI is best because sometimes premier pro crash while exporting the video but DA VINCI works pretty good in comparison of Adobe premier pro and colour grading is also good of DA VINCI

If you are a beginner then you should go for Filmora or even Movavi. These are very cheap yet the best options available in market as of now. Unlike other high end softwares like Adobe Premier these 2 softwares are primarily built for social media video makers. So they have many useful and handy features inbuilt like filters, stickers, effects, transitions, music, etc. that makes video making fast and easier.

Each video editing software have different UI and learning curves
so it depends on video editing requirements and editing skills
