Good morning BHW,

So I've been using CTR booster for a while now. For years. It's NEVER been a perfect tool and I've found myself dropping it and using other methods many times. Whether it was mass pages, a different tool, or running ads with manipulated search strings as the destination URL, or even utilizing SerpClix, I was continually dropping the tool due to being unsatisfied for multiple reasons.

It's honestly buggy as fuck.

Like currently, I'm running campaigns that a couple weeks ago were running just fine. Now all of a sudden the thing will do a search, see my result in the 3rd position for example, and just shut the browser down and start a new campaign. It's pretty annoying and definitely costing me more in resources to not get the results I need. After checking my daily searches EOD it's never completed the keyword campaigns for at least a couple weeks now, and I didn't have any issues a month ago....with the same campaigns. It makes 0 sense.

So i'm looking into something like Viper SEO Tools. However wondering if anyone here has tried it out. I don't want to run into similar issues as I am with CTR booster. Plus continually figuring out tools is becoming a serious time constraint.

Been looking at the creators channel on YouTube, Michael Bowes, and the guy really seems like he knows what he's talking about. His competitor is Agency Assassin. Viper SEO Tools is onyl $500 a month for 300 campaigns across all of the tools where as Agency Assassin is almost $4k. The newest tool I think is Kraken which is $500 a month. Its a hefty price tag, considering I was grand fathered in to CTR booster and don't pay anything. But Kraken includes all the proxies you need, VPS, and everything packaged into one monthly price.

I'm currently paying $200 a month to run CTR Booster. If I add more campaigns though that price will go up significantly being that Im using Turbo proxies and it only rotates every 30 minutes. For CTR you can safely run about 5 campaigns every 30 minutes, so you can safely run about 240 searches a day. You can see how that could get eaten up quickly when it comes to higher traffic entities.

Who else is really going hard with CTR here? I'm thinking Kraken is going to be the way to go but want to hear if anyone here is having continual success with CTR Booster or if they're running into similar issues and have found a work around.

Would love to see some opinions on this post. I've only been using CTRBooster with 2 4g proxies. It seems to get the job done, but I'd love to be able to do more than just a single hop from keyword search > link, or from referral > link.

I saw on a Skype group a few saying they were not impressed with CTR Booster and one guy was going to test some different options and feed back his thoughts.

I don’t have any information to offer about viper SEO tools. Yesterday I was looking at ZennoDroid and thought the enterprise plan could be a viable option for this purpose. They claim that the enterprise version uses “real mobile devices.”

Yeah, I'd be interested to try it out. However them using the selling point of real mobile devices is pointless. You need a mix of mobile and desktop search. Google currently doesnt detect device ID. And if you're using mobile 4g proxies (which is what I use with a mix of 5g here and there) then you look like you're on a mobile device anyway. Or if you're doing a desktop search, look like your connected to a mobile hotspot. So I think them saying they have real mobile devices is of no benefit at this point.

I've used both ctr booster and viper. I agree that with ctr booster can be a little buggy, but IMO, I feel it works a lot better than viper (did not use kraken). I stopped using viper just because you depend on other users to run the campaign and you can't verify if it's even actually running correctly. If things aren't working for you with ctr booster, check w/ the mods on FB to see if they can help.

CTR manipulation is dead.
(Except for GMB probably)
Ive tested all for almost 1 year.
Everyday.
The ranking does not move at all even after weeks.

Once you send links to it, within 12hr the ranking start to move.

Every single person I've ever analyzed doing CTR that wasn't getting results, was due to them doing it wrong.

I'm not assuming anything about you however so please don't take it that way.

However, I'd have a few questions to ask.

Were you sending clicks that you were actually getting impressions for in search console?
What were your mathematics/ratios when sending clicks?
Were you also increasing your branded and referral traffic simultaneously?

With the referral traffic part it gets pretty bulky when speaking about campaigns. You send referral from EVERYWHERE. Even offline referral traffic like links in Discord <<<<that should get your brain going :)

If you were just sending clicks to a keyword, then yeah, that doesn't work at all anymore. Natural behavior patterns is how this all works. You can't just Google a keyword and click a result anymore. Google wants to see engagement with the overall brand.

@coolsheet - Forgot to mention during my first post.... You should check out local fury for GMB ctr engagements. I tried it for a couple of months but stopped as it seemed like it wasn't doing anything? Only mentioning them just because maybe it will get better as they launched not too long ago.

If you use serpempire, they have their own % calculation on how many clicks to send.
When you rank for certain keyword, the "newer" children keywords will start to appear on G.Console, because G wanna see, with this newer list of keywords, what the user signal gonna be.
Serpempire will auto scrape all this small keywords and start sending clicks to it too.
Perfectly setup. Hence it work perfectly, but now not anymore.

I believe, Google is scanning your web-browser search history up to 7-30days.
If each visitor came from empty browser history or cookies, that doesn't seems right.

For CTR Booster clicks % I follow this guide.
youtube.com/watch?v=ECYDqKfrtVc

I tested for branded keyword, mixing with other referrals guestpost traffic, any many other complex things.
I also have my own mapping/diagram for that.
End up with X method, that I can boost any ranking from page 10,6 to page 4 or 3 in just 24hr.
Before the ranking slowly back to it original position.

Basically I did many type of experiments.

Anther type of experiment that also work perfectly is .. search brand > pageviews (you can use CTR Booster for that)

Work for like 3 months, before G updated their algo again.

And then I give up,.. everything does not seem to work.. CTR Manipulation is dead...... I got bored, I bought some link to my site.. 24hrs later... the ranking jump.

Shitzzz.. looks like I gotta go back to old, primitive, boring technique aka links building. xD

Ok wow. Yeah you were going hard with it and it looks like you were covering all the basis.

The only other question I would have is, were you screwing with the natural flow of things? As you started ranking in position 2-3 did you start dialing it back to compensate for the organic traffic?

I know that if you cause the data to change in Google then it sicks its AI on you. For example if I'm doing a keyword with 4k monthly searches and I start getting like 2000 of those because my rank increased. Yet I'm still sending an extra 1000 clicks a month with a ctr software. That could really screw with the data and raise a flag as it's outside of the norm for the keyword to randomly have over 1000 new searches every month.

It's just a theory. I'm only using it for local right now and haven't used it for anything organic as I've been more focused on agency stuff. But definitely interesting to hear your take on this.

I missed this post sorry. I actually signed up either at launch or prelaunch. I get everything from Semantic Mastery.

BUT

As you did, Im probably going to cancel as well. They're support was pretty vague when it came to answering questions about what it is they do exactly. Mathematics and ratios are super important in the CTR realm and it made me feel uncomfortable they couldn't answer any of my questions. Watching ranking for another month and goign to cancel.

But yeah not seeing any results from them either.

@coolsheet - A couple of other users from FB and YT experienced the same thing where they saw no change after using local fury.

I'm hoping they did something, but when I looked at the GMB console, there was no lift or anything, which is unfortunate.

Unrelated to CTR... I'm currently using Semantic links rebuilds (low to mid competition), in general how long do you stick with it before ending the subscription for a client? 2 to 3 months?

I mean it all depends. In the local realm I like to give it 3 months.

But the CTR game concerns me because there's no way to check on whether or not they're actually doing the work or not. Then if you don't see results how do you actually know unless you pause all SEO work for 3 months? Then they'll say "This isn't a silver bullet you ahve to be doing xyz in collaboration with Local Fury"

But then it's like, how do I know that xyz isn't whats ranking me and it has nothing to do with Local Fury?

Which is why I bought CTR booster years back. Was tired of the BS in the market.

I have been doing CTR for local for a long time, tested CTR Booster and Viper, never got results with either.

Was able to prove how it should work using VA's and multi login.

Finally got a custom made tool that I use for my clients.

CTR Booster has updated since then but when I tried it the software was so slow and buggy it's not worth it, better to build a custom tool.

Did you create the bot on your own?

I have no idea why I never thought of that!

ML + VAs

What proxies were you using?

But god damn man. I've been thinking of a way to send more referral traffic via social media links, yelp, etc etc. Been staring me right in the face every time I leave a review for a client with ML.
