Hey

I gotta chose from 3 domains in a niche site.

Lets say the nice is coffee variations, and I got these 3 example domains to chose from.

1. 9 year old domain never expired, DA2 PA1 SPAM23 has 1 of the 2 key words example: www.coffee-start.com
2. Expired domain with DA20 PA12 SPAM2 has 0 of the keywords complete different, not brandable, example: www.heavydutycompany.com
3. Brand new domain that I can buy both keywords in, example: www.coffee-variations.com / www.coffeevariations.com

Which of the 3 you would go with ?

Why would you take a domain with high spam score?
And why a domain that doesn't even hint about the topic.
In this case you should definitely create a new domain or just try to find an expired one that is more appropriate.

I don't know what spam score is high 22% does not seem "that" bad.

And the expired without hint because it has DA and the content isn't in English so google only see keyword not understandable words in this language I guess.

22% SS is pretty high and Google understand almost all the languages in the world.

Is there a good article or any form of review about spam scores?

Because at this point I thought anything under 30%SS is ignorable

Even 100% SS is ignorable to me. Fiverr.com's SS is now 50% but they are getting millions of visitors from google. I have a site which previously had 25% ss but I was able to reduce it down to 1%. So it's not a big deal.

If you had already built the site and it had 20% spam score, I would've said ''ignore it because it's a third party metric.''

But site is not live yet. Why would I start with a little flaw right from the beginning?

Because you asked ''Which of the 3 you would go with?'' That's why I said go with a fresh domain.

You know, it's like a personal choice and how your mind works. If you're ok then go with it.
