Why do you waste your traffic with cpa or adsense?
Why don't you sell your own product and get 100% of the profit instead of making commissions.

To answer your question, Affiliate is still better than adsense.

But if you still want to go for adsense, then better improve your stats and try for some better paying ad networks other than adsense.

It would depend on your niche.

If it's just a general news blog then AdSense would be good.

Or if it's related to a specific niche like laptop or fitness then the affiliate is the answer.

This would not work for every kind of site though. Some kind of traffic can mostly be monetized by ads.

To the OP, I would say try each and everyone of them first to figure out what pays more. CPA and Affiliate have the chances of paying you much more than adsense if you have great offers that would convert. If you can find good offers then go the CPA route, similar thing with affiliate. If affiliate could work well, maybe you should do the guy I'm quoting said.

If they are willing to buy through your affiliate links, maybe you should directly feature such kinds of products on your site.

Finally, adsense would give you something around $2 to $5 daily, assuming your traffic is mostly US. It could be higher for niches like finance.
Adsense would surely give you some income whereas the others may not. Adsense should be your fall back option if/when others fail.

I don't know I haven't had both on the same site before. Lots of CPA links look a bit like spammy websites/links.

Try them independently, don't have both CPA and Adsense on the same page at once.
