Hi,
First thing, ignore any typos or grammar mistakes because English is not my native language.

THE BORING INTRODUCTION:
  • I live in 3rd world country, and the economy is declining.
  • There are restrictions on personal foreign currency spending, so I can't spend as many dollars as I need on websites even if I have it (There are some blackhat solutions xD but still dollar is expensive)
  • Sometimes I get the opportunity to do some freelancing online and get some pocket money.
  • I just graduated from UNI, and there is mandatory military service in my country (possibly for one year). It will start in January, but it won't affect me too much.
  • I have some programming background, but I forgot most of it, but it will still help me do what I want on my website.
  • I have zero experience in SEO
  • My first target for monthly profit is $300, which is above average (My brother works as an accountant 12 hours 6 days a week for $350 monthly)

My plan before starting my website:

  1. As I'm on a low budget, I will search if I can rank other domains like .me or .tech, which I can get for free by .edu email, and I'm 90% I can get free hosting by .edu emails, but anyway, they are cheap, and I will have no problem spending some dollars on them if I couldn't get them for free or needed to have a .com domain, but the priority is to spend money on something else.
  2. Learn SEO -- if you have recommendations of free or paid ebooks and courses, please tell me.
  3. Search furthermore for what I should do on Rank & Rent websites to rank them faster, and I want to thank @Holzr for his contributions. I learned too much from his posts.
  4. Pick a niche: After some brainstorming, I found a twist to search keywords that I can't predict asap and found initial success in finding keywords of 100 volume and KD is 2 and about 20 reviews on the first 3 GMBs ( I'm confident that in the next few days or weeks of learning SEO I will find a suitable keyword)
  5. I need to search if it's better to make only a landing page or publish some content on the website.
I don't plan on ignoring this thread, and I will try to close it if I choose to abandon the journey.

Any advice and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Good luck mate, my advice is don't buy any courses until you know exactly what you need.. you'll waist your limited budget.

Thanks
That's what I plan on doing. I know that there are many crab courses on the internet, so I will try to pick wisely.

Good luck for your journey, this might give you some ideas:

Thank You for the recommendation It really benefited me
it's funny that I stumbled upon the e-book on the videos a few days ago but I didn't know who wrote it

UPDATE:

I tried to study some SEO, I didn't fully understand what I read but I got the idea it's like a guideline or best practice and not something to be done specifically (Correct me if I'm wrong)

After hours of grinding, I think I found the suitable niche

-Volume is nice
-GMB is shit which is a good thing because I don't plan on making one for now because of low budget
-Serp, KD, Comp and some other factors are great

I will learn some SEO for now and search a little bit ( Maybe I will find a better niche)
but If I couldn't find a better niche, I will start establishing my website and preparing the structure

Good luck with your journery, but I would suggest to pick a niche which does personally interest you. That makes it much easier to stick with it.

Thank you.

I think niches that interest me are better if I am starting a blog,
But in rank & rent, I just need a service keyword with a calling intent to be able to get leads

It's good. We want to know more things about it.

UPDATE:
Sorry for waiting two days to update. I got sick and needed to rest.

After some grinding (again)
I think I found the jackpot with a complete luck
I won't reveal the niche, but it's something like a plumber, which you don't call unless you need him.
So let's take a look at the volume.

Volume is excellent, and the difficulty for a beginner like me might be challenging, but I plan to work hard on this website.

The GMB isn't the best thing, but there are some advantages.
1- The main competitor's domain is parked or something by some company, so there's no content, but I don't know how he is no.1
----At the time of publishing this post, I found out that it was seized by that company yesterday :) I don't know if it's going to be removed from the first position, but I hope
2- The second and third businesses don't have a website, so there's no more competition in the first position

And I decided to buy the EMD, which in this niche is rare to find (I knew that later)
I found the keyword at 1 AM, so with excitement, I tried to buy the EMD and pay with Paypal, but I found out that I can't pay with my Paypal balance in my country.
And there's something I didn't tell you. It's that I live in a small town where after midnight, you won't find many people at that time, and the town only has two bank branches and the post office, so I grabbed my CC (which is linked to the post office) and walked like 10 minutes to one of the ATMs to deposit but found out that they don't support my CC. Then I walked 10 minutes again to the post office, which has 3 ATMs
The first: doesn't support depositing.
The second: broke after I inserted the CC; at that time, I was furious and wanted to buy the domain ASAP
The third and last one luckily worked, and I deposited 15$

At that time, I didn't care about the hosting because the domain was very important.
The next day I got sick and researched and picked a template and some plugins.

Today:
I found a hosting company that offers 200$ for 60 days and had to pay 5$, and it was a great deal ( They are trustable)

I spent around 8 hours launching the website and customizing the theme and that stuff, and I posted one small blog with the aid of AI and Grammarly.

Total Revenues: $0
Total Expenses: $15

The next update might be after a week or two weeks because what's left for now is to improve the SEO and rest a little.

Good News

The website performed better than I expected, maybe because there are old backlinks or something I don't know.

Bad News

I contacted leadsmart to see if it's possible to sell leads to them, but they said they don't accept any leads from my niche atm. :(
I searched for other companies and found a list of ZIPs, but they don't need leads from my city too.

I actually prefer to look for clients first before diving into a niche because I want to know that I can sell to them. Unfortunately I have made that mistake many times before just as you experienced right now. I hope it does work out for you and at least you know you can do it.

The niche is very popular, so I didn't expect that.
There's an idea in my mind, but I don't know if it's going to work

Which ebook is that, if you don't mind sharing the name.
Good luck to your journey!

It's not a big ebook. It's just a checklist to choose good keywords
