The above in no particular order.
I apply all three on different sites they all produce results, all positive results.
They would all cost you money, at least how I do it they cost me money. Finally, for guest post and niche edit only go for sites with search engine traffic.

They have no real value. I don't waste time with them.
You could use them for the purpose of diversity or to help get some of your links indexed. But when you get links from sites that are doing well on search, your links would be having indexing issues.

A site with 10k traffic per month according to semrush is good enough for me.
Even 5k does work for me.

Don't be so sure. They provide certain amount of value, specially on foundation stages. Comparing to some of the competence, which at most, relies on commercial register (at least in my country) for many long tails, those shitty links could be a gigantic differentiator for those last steps on one long tail that you have secondarily identified through your GSC monitoring.
I may like to write on this in a future because I feel some people around will start seeing some value on such with some extra perspective.

PBNs work the best but you cannot just pick any PBN service. You will learn with test and trial.
Agreed, and even better if the page itself has traffic.
Personally I check other metrics in combination with traffic, and then do some manual audit as well, but that's me.
Anyway, beware of most sellers here. They will sell you solely based in metrics, and that's a red flag.
Always try each one with the smallest amount you can spend, and don't trust review copies. The quality is often different from the actual service they will provide

Anyone that knows what they're doing would know metrics alone are not good. They can be faked.
Yes, for niche edits. But for guest posts, just ensire the entire site gets search traffic and ranks for lots of keywords.

Good quality PBNs, Guest Posting, And other tier 1 backlinks. All works, your website might not need many of these, it differs for niches so don't just waste money on getting expensive pbns.

Niche Edit, Guest posts from niche relevant authority sites definitely work well. PBN, Web2.0, press releases, and other forms of diversification can be used.
