yes if that bothers you
$200? wow. I use a company that provides similar services that charges $135 to form my company and then $20 a year for the registered agent.
I wish you all had a great weekend.
I have seen many people in BHW asking questions about LLCs in the USA. I have been one of them in the past too.
The thing is that nobody shares their own sources publicly. Back at the time, I asked a member here on BHW (can't recall his name now) and he suggested me a service.
Guess what?! That service was a fcuking reseller and I ended up paying $500 to set up an LLC in Wyoming.
I'm not gonna share the RESELLER company, no worries lol. I'll share the main source.
The company I have used is Wyoming LLC attorney (.) com. You can set up your LLC in the US for $199.
After 1-year I paid $159 for Renew Agent Service & We File Annual Report With Our Name (Anonymous).
After setting up the company obviously you want to open a US bank account. I created a simple website for my company and applied for a bank account with Mercurey but I didn't have success. A friend of mine was accepted. So I would suggest you try Mercury first and if that doesn't work you can continue with Relayfi (.) com. They accepted my application and now I have a US bank account. I also received a Debit Business Card which Relayfi mailed to my business address (in this case Wyoming LLC attorney).
Then I used the MAIL FORWARDING service from the Wyoming LLC attorney (costs $65) and received the CARD.
If you don't need the physical Debit Card you can use the Virtual one. You can also create Virtual Debit cards for your registered employees.
With this LLC I also created an account Stripe account which is working like a charm.
NOTE
- I still haven't used the Relayfi yet as i don't really need the bank account. So I can't tell you my experience with them. (fees, maintenance, etc)
- I also didn't do any transactions with the company so I can't tell you anything about taxes etc.
TL: DR
Set up an LLC in Wyoming US with Wyoming LLC attorney (.) com
Open a US bank account with Relayfi (.) com
That's all, $200 and you have your LLC set up in the US.
Have a nice week ahead
PS. I'm not affiliated with any of those companies. Just my own experience.
What country are you from OP ? that is useful information even to a person here in U.S.
hey Hustle, Any suggestions about registering UK LLP?These are sensible replies and everything stated here is true. Except, it's not completely free even if you do it on your own. You need to pay the state fee which is $102 for the first year for Wyoming and $60 from your second year.
Other than that, yes, you do have to file form 5472 and 1120 and the annual report. This is a good article for those who want to read up more about it : https://gwcarter.com/us-tax-guide-for-nonresident-aliens-with-single-member-llc/
Registering a company is easy, thanks to all these online resources, but maintaining it takes time, effort and money. Also keep in mind, the payment processors and online banks are all very stringent, you'll get shut down with the slightest shady thing you do.
Btw, you can't open a paypal account with a US LLC if you don't have the ITIN. It's either SSN or ITIN. Can't open a paypal account with EIN. And that is why I recommend UK LLP for anyone who wants to open a paypal account along with an offshore company. UK LTD is also an option but compliance is trickier than it is for LLP.
Hi i need your help about creation llcI’ve done my EIN myself and done for 3 LLC myself. All you need to explain them what your business is all about and need article of corporations. I have incorporated LLC in Wyoming and New Mexico. Both are privacy focused. If someone needs free help on this lemme know.
This.foreign owners should be aware of the LLC tax implications in their local fiscal residence jurisdictions. The income from the US LLC may still be taxed in the country of residence."
google for "double taxation"This.
Please can someone enlighten me why foreigners need a US LLC for their online businesses? Does the US require you to have an US company to be able to sell to US customers? Or what’s the reason?
If it’s to avoid the higher taxes in the home country then I would carefully check whether that really is the case. From what I know, many countries these days don’t care where the company is registered but where the substance (employees, decision-making, offices, etc.) is. So if you’re providing all your services from a room in Amsterdam, the Dutch tax authorities may potentially still tax you even if it’s your US LLC that’s writing the invoice to the customer. In fact, you may suddenly pay taxes twice, in the US and the Netherlands.
I am aware of DTAs. Even with a DTA, I am quite sure this would only help prevent double taxation, but that it wouldn’t help evading the higher tax rates of the country where the actual management of the company is by registering the company somewhere else.google for "double taxation"
some countries have agreed to exclude double taxation, so that what you described did not happen.
Where are you trying to incorporate Wyoming?Has anyone successfully opened an LLC with their services? Sent them an email but no reply for a long time. Their site is not rated well on Trustpilot
