96 GB VPS free for EVERYONE

For those who create a free tiers months ago is it still active? Oracle seem to terminate free tiers randomly.

Still active. But I've heard it does the same. Just keep scheduled backups to google drive and they do restore your server if you will contact them (at least that's what I've read). For me I run couple of blogs from there with mostly static content and it does the job. But I wouldn't trust running a huge traffic woocommerce store.

yes better make backups as always.
I read they don't reply to free members messages, only paid ones.
Anyway you can save your root disk, shut down your server yourself after one month and reinstall the root on another instance. It requires some work since the I changes.

For email use wp mail smtp plugin if you are using WordPress along with Sendinblue.
Use a outlook or something email address to recieve email and your domain name to send.

Man just saw this after commenting on another post about Oracle, I only found out about it a couple months ago but yeah the free plan is really nice. Good to see more people using it

I currently have a VM created as follows:

Virtual machine, 2 core OCPU, 12 GB memory, 2 Gbps network bandwidth

If I create another one exactly like it I understand that it would still be all free? Is this correct? I have had the other VM for months and it works without any problem.

Oracle indicates the following message: Service limit will be reached. Upgrade your account or manage resources.

Yes, you can create it

Perfect, I just ignore the message, you won't charge me anything in advance, right? Hahaha. I understand that this would be the last VM I could have for free, correct?

You cant be charged at all, if you go to the billings page you will notice that your CC is not there. This is because they use your CC during sign up only for human verification and never add it for billing.

You can have 2 more 1 GB AMD64 VPS, In total the max VPS you can have is: 6

Thank you for the clarification. I will set up another VPS today so I have 2 with 12gb. Hestia is very easy to install and manage.

Oracle 24 GB 4 VPS - Still it's valid? Where do I fetch it, is it directly from oracle?

I went through the comments and still, it's confusing as most members are saying you must wait till the trial ends to avoid using any paid feature, But one of my hostings is about to expire and the trial still has 12 days left, I want to try and host one of my websites before the trial expires what VPS should I choose?
