I have learnt python basics. how to monetize?

hey guys, so a month ago, i posted a thread regarding learning programming and i think i have got a hang of programming. guys here suggested automate the boring stuff w python.
i have read that book completely and took the udemy course and i know all the basics. i have made quite a few projects too, though the basic ones which everyone makes like tic-tac-toe, snake game, etc. I also saw some videos of how to make telegram bot, and i made a bot too which automatically posts on groups by connecting the api. idk how the api works, but following the video i could make it.

now, i want to know what should i learn now to make something that actually makes money. what sort of bots or what sort of websites should i make and what other things need to be learnt to make these bots. i saw how to make reddit bots, but they were simply using api and making them. i wanna learn how to make bots that integrate proxies.


what should i learn as i am really really curious to learn. a month ago i dreaded programming like hell since i am a non-engineer, but learning python for 1 month has made me really curious and now i want to learn everything. i have an ample amount of time. i have graduated, and can give a lot of time to learning. my goal is basically to give next 3 months to coding and get a lot of skills and start making money from the new year.

please suggest some ways and enlighten me, thanks

Then maybe tiktok automation. Scraping or generating videos and uploading with CPA links

Pick a niche. You can't and won't be good and everything in python.
Either web scraping, rest apis, microservices, data science, etc, pick one.

Go on upwork and look for the recent jobs posted in that niche.
Don't apply, just observe.

Make a list of how many jobs would you complete out of 10.
Pick each job you have no clue what they are talking about, and make it your project.

If money is what you want to get out of it, might I suggest sticking with web scraping and data science(pandas).

I saw some tutorials on web scraping a week ago, and I found them to be pretty basic. using bs4 and parsing using HTML only. is there any other way to scrape?

Most of the data science jobs need pandas and numpy to generate dataframes. Basically to render the data you have scraped.
Lookup on youtube a couple of tutorials on how to complete an ETL (Extract Transform Load).

It will cover how to extract/scrap the data, transform it based on your(your client) needs and load it into a dataframe(and to a database later on).
Most jobs revolve around this action.

Perform a few of them to get used to.

For example, make your own small google search scraper ETL.

Extract the data from google search based on a keyword
Transform the data by parsing the HTML for links, meta description, position in the serp.
Load the data into a dataframe(pandas), play with the column names, etc.

Then play with numpy, if you wish to generate an empty column and populate it with NaN for example.

This is more like a wax on, wax off(

) kind of exercise.
Most basic python jobs on upwork revolve around scraping a specific website, transform the data and load it into a .csv/.xslx file, which you will do with pandas.

Then, after all this, to complete your stack, create an app with Flask or FastAPI ( I suggest don't go into django for now as it's not beginner friendly).
Create your first simple app with one endpoint for example /getResults, take the argument through POST (your keyword), pass it to a worker function in the back, and display the result.

Then learn how to containerize everything with Docker, create your first docker-compose file which will create the containers and have everything up and running with a click of a button. That will be the deployment of your first app.

It should take you a week or two to get used to what I said above.
When you have completed that stack, you should be ready to take your first job.

I suggest charging around $20/hour, you'll be left with $16/hr on upwork.

Remember one thing when watching tutorials.
As soon as you learn something new, pause the video, and type the code yourself word by word in your IDE.
This will help get the info in your head.
