Pinned comments on YT shorts

Hi everyone,
I’m noticing that if I publish a short video with a pinned comment all the shorts published on that day do not reach anyone while if I do publish shorts with no comment they perform pretty good.

Have you noticed the same?

I’m trying to monetize video with affiliate/CPA offers so I need to post link in comments.

What do you suggest me to do?
Like publish the short and wait for it to get traction and then post a pinned comments or pinned comments do not impact shorts performance?

That's an odd thing to affect the algorithm. Are you sure it's not a one-off thing or you've seen this happen multiple times?

Multiple times.
Not so many to be sure about that.
Let’s say 5 times.
It’s like YouTube pushes my shorts for few hours and just some random days, and only if I don’t place pinned comments

To be clear. I post short as unlisted, place the pinned comment, schedule, publish and then few view.
If I just post short as scheduled with no pinned comment I get many views.
Same tipe of videos

This is likely a co-incidence but if you are posting a phishing link or a dangerous link then it may be possible. You have to wait for your video to get pushed and when the views start growing use your pinned comments.

Try posting the comment on a different account and pinning it

Try to post comments using a different account and pin that comment. Try to release the video without unlisted, try to pin it, and see if it changes.
