Ahrefs has nothing to do with Google Search. It's like running a tool on your PC. Has no impact on Google. It's just a reporting external toolHi,
I found that ahrefs already indexed my backlink,
but when i go to google.com search the backlink url site:xxxxxx
It doesn't show up on the SERP. Why?
At first, I thought that ahrefs had already indexed the backlink, which meant that google had definitely indexed it.Ahrefs has nothing to do with Google Search. It's like running a tool on your PC. Has no impact on Google. It's just a reporting external tool

Isn't ahrefs reporting because it knows that google has already indexed it?
I thought the ahrefs index backlink was pretty accurate

Ahrefs and google have different databases. Ahrefs crawled your pages and added them to its dB. When google crawls your site it’ll add those pages to its database. Maybe it already has but it’s not ready to show them on the serps. They’re two different companies and they treat the data separatelyHi,
