Offshore VPS with mounted OnShore Dedi???

Hey,

atm Im using a extern filehoster for my porntube, but I would really like to host my videos myself.
Now, its very, very pricy to get an offshore dedicated server with TB's of space.
As you know, Hetzner or OVH has way cheaper Storage Server but is obviously not DMCA ignored and you cant pay via Bitcoin.

So, I had following Idea:

Get an Offshore anonym VPS with unlimited Traffic (35$)
Get an Onshore Server from OVh or Hetzner with a lot of TB (50$)

Then I would mount a webdavshare (password protected) from the Onshore Dedi on the VPS and make my Videos available like this.
Would this work? Is this a good solution? The Onshore Ip would not be public right? Cause the video is "going through" the vps?

Might be a server speed problem because the vps is using Double bandwith right? "Getting the video from the Dedi AND serving it to the user"

Ideas?

Like that I could get 16 TB + VPS for 90$, instead of 1 TB Offshore dedicated.....

As far as I concerned adult content web sites have a lot of traffic which you can monetize and use the funds to cover your server cost.

A more optimised solution would be to use cheap offshore server as reverse proxy in fromt of Hetzner/ OVH server.
Webdavshare is good, but proxy will be much faster.

I think I did it like you mentioned

I now use a offshore VPS where I mounted my Hetzner Dedi via rclone

Rclone works as well. And there is nothing cheaper than Hetzner for hardware
