YouTube Journey to 1k Subs and Beyond

I recently started up my YouTube channel for a niche I'm working, and this is my current stats. Most of these are from other accounts, and since the channel itself is older they are old subs. Same niche, just starting over.


Anyway, I just wanted to start this thread to help me keep track and let you guys come on the journey with me. Below are a few more stats as of writing this.

The videos are short, less than 5 minutes most of the time so far, so we'll see. I also will be uploading shorts.


Current goal is 1k subs, but I'll probably post updates occasionally, only when there are actual updates to share. Anyway, wish me luck guys. I'll also post my earnings from YouTube when monetized, and any sales I make from the affiliate products I'm selling that are a direct result from the channel. I have an Instagram and TikTok, as well as blogs related to this as well, and might post their stats since they will direct people to my channel.

I have automated voiceovers, and no face, so we'll see if that works, if the automated voices seem to not be working, I'll likely remove them or just use my voice.

Ah I see I wish you all the best though goodluck!!!!! If I'm not wrong though automated voiceovers don't get monetized anymore the channels arent given adsense and they're cutting down on channels who primarily use automated voice overs but I'm not too sure

Well luckily I don't REALLY need adsense, and the goal is to try and get monetized, but it's fine if not, I can always upload the occasional video with my voice to offset it. But thanks!

I know. It's either gonna happen based on the grind, or sheer volume of videos without spamming, since it's a niche where I can do a lot of short, easy to make videos, I should be able to crank out a good number without much effort, but still try and keep a good quality for them. We'll see.

Is this channel just a big commercial for the product? like lets say its a potato peeler are.u just posting videos of poatao peelers or you posting like cooking conten hoping someone wants a potato peeler ?

Mostly they are external, from my blog and a few other sites where I shared my videos. Thanks, good luck to you as well

I'll try making some more shorts to see if it works out better, benefit would be that they can posted on Reels and TikTok as well for more exposure, I'll have to shorten up the vids a bit in that case since only TikTok lets you do longer than 1 minute. Plus side they are already barely over 2 mins so far so it might be possible.

Yeah that's true, and no it's a whole niche in itself, trying to narrow it down a bit more first, but gotta figure out where.
