Passion matters in Blogging

No need for passion for blogging nowadays. Use a good AI spinner, check the output for any editing, corrections to be done, and then check for plagiarism and then publish.
Well, on the other hand having passion is ofcourse an added advantage that adds to uniqueness and a flow of new, fresh ideas, no doubt.

+ do that on a large scale

Nope for me just money is important

Without passion, same as: you dont like the cars, but you going to learn&study in "college" as a car mechanic. But after that, you still dont like the cars, and know how to fix it and change the wheels, but not invent. Of course you should do research before go into every niche. As i know, some people cant work without passion, doesnt matter how big money in it. Should be balance at least 50% of passion and some love to your work. For youngest people, passion dont care too much. If no love to what you do,youl never hit big bank, even if you outsource. You wont manage company with hundreds employees. You can go small, short without passion, but never gonna hit big.But thats my opinion.

Maharajancha Vijay Aso!

In the starting years of my career, I started a blog dedicated to Hindi Cinema (Bollywood) because I felt really 'passionate' about it. I spent millions of hours in writing content myself, designing a theme myself, doing SEO (with whatever knowledge I had that time), creating and managing social media, etc. - all without doing a fundamental research that this niche is oversaturated and does not have even quality audience with buying intent!

I ended up with a wonderful website built out of 'passion' with 'zero' revenue.

Fast forward 2022, I own a handful of websites from niches that I don't even love to talk about, all content outsourced with carefully chosen niches, earning decent money by ads and affiliates.

Lesson Learned. Period.
Did you research Bollywood niche before dive in?Did you done everything to be the best in this niche?around is always those who the best, and those who not. Doesnt matter how much competency.
There is a blogs who makes millions in profit a year, i dont think so they reached that without passion. No way

As I said this was when I started my blogging career around 15 years ago. That time I was a fresher and I did not have knowledge of how to select niche, site optimization, keyword research, etc. So I started purely without SEO knowledge and only worked hard without any plan or strategy.

Without a plan, I ended up with a site that earns almost zero revenue.

Of course I know there are many websites dedicated to Cinema, Bollywood and Television industry there days those have thousands of pages of content and they are regularly pumping in content on current affairs and are earning good. I have come far from that point of time and I am making good money with other niches now.

I have a plan to replicate those sites model now in my old Bollywood site once I get some free time. I know with millions of posts, syndicated images and current affairs news, now it is possible to make some decent money in this niche today.

i totally agree with you. in fact, people will easily run out of ideas when write about subjects that they are not interested. it's important to write about the subjects you're passionate about.

Amongst passion, consistency too very important. Also it should be constructive.. Instead of doing it solo for a longer-term vision, better be developing either a team or a community that keeps you fueling the most.

If a person could hire a team, he would probably outsource it with the capital rather than managing the team himself.

yup

Passion....that's common. Endurance is rare.

Passion alone is not sufficient if it doesn't lead to a sustainable interest. Something you can sustain for the long haul.

And this sustainable interest must be a concept that connects to the well-being of others.

Once you achieve this intersection of three ingredients of passion, sustainable interest and well -being of others, you will start becoming known in your space. Becoming known increases trust and the trust attracts business.

All words are not mine. Read 'Known' by Mark Schaefer. Read it if you want to increase your personal brand in this world. You will thank me later.
