Yes. It can be easier but our passion should be sustainable and in a public good. Another good author Call Newport in his book 'Be so good they can't ignore you' has dedicated a full chapter with examples on why following your passion not a good thing always. So we must make due diligence. A passion with no market value is likely to be fizzled out sooner or later.

My opinion is that you cannot expect the same level of interest from a writer when you outsource the work to them. The objective is to persuade them to write the material, after which you will insert your own recipe into it. It takes a bit of time but is definitely worth it if you are doing it for the long term.

Yes, reading the book right now. His "Deep Work" is a pretty good book

I definitely agree that having an interest in the subject helps you monetize your blog. Does it have to be your passion? I'm not sure about that. However, you should at least enjoy writing about it.
