As a freelance writer writing for blogs, how many articles can you complete in a day, and what is the minimum number of words for each article?

Those numbers vary based on niche and client needs, and the number of articles done daily varies based on the number of words each is but if you can do three or four thousand words of quality content per day, I'd say you are doing great, just remember, it is not the number of words per day that truly matters it is the number of quality words per day.

If you want to stand out and have a chance in this field, focus on quality and not quantity cause too many writers focus on their volume and then slack in the quality department, and that makes for a short-lived career.

I m a part time writer. Maximum 1000 words a day if its unique and original.

Not a professional writer but I write a lot of the content for my sites.

It depends on the niche for me. If it's entertainment, apparel, culture - easily 2000 words a day.

If it's finance or tech that's difficult, I need to look up information and references. I can do like 800 words a day and then I usually don't want to see it for a few days.

Hahaha.... I understand that last part.

I have managed to write 6000 words a day, it included 5 articles of 1000 words each and 2 of 500 words.

Adding onto this well-crafted response, it takes time to get your rhythm really down writing content. I'm talking months/years, but once you do, you can crank out loads of content every day.

However, you want to keep your rhythm smooth and not stress about it. Stressing causes writer's block. I know, much easier said than done these days.

What I did was along the lines of:

Pull up your resources for writing.
Start crafting your paragraph outlines.
Write the bulk of the article
Address your article topic/premise/conclusion.
Proofread.
Add in images/keywords/formatting as needed.

I outsource most of the content but add my own touches at the end
If I had to write something from scratch, probably 1K words per day

How did you do that?

Were the articles already researched the same day, or you have made everything ready before writing?

Thank you so much.. You had to narrow it down for me.

Damn!, I so much appreciate this.

if it is a general article in a topic / niche you are experiences in and proficient this is easily doable. However, these numbers are not for technical, in-depth or heavily researched topics, as you can imagine.
