Content Updation Has Hit a Limit [Help]

Hi Guys, so this is regarding an already ranking article which alone drives 100 unique users daily. Since it is already ranking for the past 3-4months I hardly make any major changes in terms of editing. Everytime it's just minor tweaks here and there cause the industry this content is about lacks anything new..

Question is how do I keep adding new lines to this already 1400+ word length article. Suggestions please.
 
It is already ranking so why change content. If needed anyway, follow competing sites on page 1.

Why would you want to constantly update it? Dude, you update it every 6 months unless there is a substantial change. updated content ranks yes, but this does not mean you make necessary updates for no reason at all. You need to have a use case for content decay. If it is not old or outdated then there is no need to keep going in to make changes. Chill out, have a cold one and work on other articles so they rank and bring in traffic as well. Cheers!
