Like? Im mostly in it for the keyword tools and search forcasts such as the difficulty to rank for a certain keyword since google analytics only shows results and difficulty from google searches.

Many similar tools provide almost the same stats and features like it, but in my opinion security is the important thing you need to consider when giving access permissions to a third party app. TubeBuddy is the safest option.

I am using VidIQ and I haven't heard of anything like getting hacked. A quick search also doesn't turn anything concrete up.

That being said I tried Tubebuddy once (a few years ago) and it seemed very similar to VidIQ, almost indistinguishable in terms of features. Have they differentiated in any significant way since then?

The free version looks slightly different to me personally i would like to hear of an experience before i pay for a subscription now days stuff gets hyped up for a quick sale and i just want to make sure i get the right one.
