Here is some advice for you, since I almost have the same journey (and also thread title lol)
- Integrate Appodeal or another mediation in your app. So you will always be able to monetize the app and earn money through different ad networks. The best ad networks are: Admob, Facebook Audience Network, Unity ads and Applovin.
- Don't upload too many apps on your Google Play developer account. Don't put all eggs in one basket. Google is very high likely to remove your account for ANY kind of reason, even if its totally absurd. You have to count this in. Try to minize this risk. As long as your apps don't rank or get a thousands of downloads per day, you won't face this problem. But once you get a lot of organic traffic, competitors, etc. will come after you and try to take you down. This is how it is, unfortunately.
- There is something like a shadowban on Google Play (same as on Google search, YouTube, etc.) this means your apps won't rank well in the beginning organically. It can take up to 45 days. This is from my own experience from numerous apps and accounts. They try to make you spend money on ads. Google hates organic traffic, cuz it doesn't make them any money.
- Integrate Firebase or other analytic tools in your app.
Here are some basics on how to figure out which game earns you the most money.
1. Integrate Firebase
2. Buy 500-1000 downloads from Tier 3 countries like India
-> The better your ASO, the less is the CPI
-> make sure to get some 5 star reviews, it will increase the CTR and CR, which will lead to a lower CPI
3. Go to Firebase Analytics and check the following:
- Take a look at the events and how often they got triggered. (important)
For example -> How many times per 1000 users are watching an interstitial ad.
- Check how much time they spend in your app
- Check how long it takes them to uninstall your app and how often they are opening it, etc.
Why is this important?
Because you don't want to spend your marketing budget/ads money on apps or games, which are not performing well. You want to have the best possible ROI. If one game is trash, but the other one is doing really good, you should focus on the good one and stop spending money on the bad one.
Once you found a game with a good ROI, buy app installs from Tier 1 countries such as USA.
Btw. the reason why you got limited on Admob is probably because one of the guys who downloaded the app repeatedly pressed on the ads over and over again -> suspicious behavior, fraudulent traffic/clicks. To avoid this: Use mediation and only enable Admob in Tier 1 and Tier 2 countries. This will be much better.
