I spent $2,000 in Backlinks: DR still zero?

My blog is 45 days old.

I worked on building links with Blogs in my same niche, that had a high DR (45+) and
has low spam score and good traffic (over 40K visitors per month).

I got over 20+ backlinks over the span of 45 days. some were free and some i paid between $100 and $300 each.

I didn't buy links from BHW because all sellers provide spammy websites mostly,
so I looked for my competitors ranking in the first and second page of Google and asked them
to guest post.

But my DR is still zero according to semrush and ahrefs,
why is that?

45 days is too less. You have to wait for some more time, a month or two may be.

Looks like you are too desperate for success. You spent $2k in the initial 45 days of a new website that was way too much in my opinion for this short time span.

It will be interesting to know a bit more about your site -

- What is the niche of your website?
- How many articles do you have in your website? What is the word count?
- Have you done keyword research before writing articles?
- How much traffic you are getting currently as on today?

why is $2K too much? it's nothing...
Also it's not wasted, it's done for backlinking and I am planning on spending the same amount every month if it works at increasing the overall DR.

check whether the links are in ahrefs index -- do they show up in the backlink report?

also I've seen some sites with 0 DR that have backlinks in the ahrefs index. the links always have 0 UR. this could be an issue with guest posts if the guest post page has no links to it.

Links show on semrush but not on ahrefs, lol.

45 Days is not a very long time, so don't be very worried. Not like boosting your DR alone and not your position is that much of a good thing.

Also, hope the links you were buying were really good links so you don't end up wasting your $2k.

If you didn't buy from BHW then it would be spammy links from the others who build you the backlinks.

Don't easily judge all the sellers are here providing spammy links mate, so check what work you have done to your site and rectify the errors

Get an expired domain man. I got one for 2k and ahrefs said it's 44DR.

Look at online marketplaces not bhw do some research

Hello brother , i guess it takes minimum 90 days for result. Still check quality of content. It should be original. Also if u make too many links for a new site its not good.

I wanted to create my own domain brand, so I started from scratch. If other people did it, i can do it too. I took inspiration from a blogger than got to 10,000 visitors a month and then to 100,000 in less than 9 months...

Wait for 3 months to see results

As your site has only 45 days, Just your building your profile. Need for some more time to show results. Wait for atleast 3 month to see your improvement but keep update your work regularly.

Have you checked if these 20 links are indexed in Google atleast if not in Ahrefs? They need to be indexed to have any link juice passed to your website. If they are not yet in index , plz get them indexed first.

Quality of backlinks, your keyword Competition, Content Structure, Quality of Content and mainly are your all links indexed

If DR increased doesn't mean traffic will increase
I have seen DR 50+ with 0 Traffic, there are many factors. Quality of Links , Keyword Competition

I'm curious why the people care much about the third party tools rating instead of checking whether their backlinks are crawled and is there any effect on rankings. Search engine spiders and third party spiders are not related to each others, the third party ratings are just for analysis and not accurate.

45 Days isn't enough. Will take months to year to see the changes.
As I see you are new in SEO, So i don't recommend you to get competitors backlinks for such price.
300$ is a lot and you can buy a lot of good niche relevant backlinks/guastpost with that price.
Spending 2k$ for 45 days for competitors few links isn't good idea when you are new

Finance is probably the most competitive niche. Also, your domain is probably still in sandbox, it takes few months to see improvements. SEO is a game of patience.

Also, hope the links you were buying were really good links so you don't end up wasting your $2k.
