So I have a 10k IG account and I use it to promote my fashion brand. I used some services over the years like Ascend Viral, Growthoid and Followfox. My engagement was kinda bad lately like -200 likes per post. I quit working with those services and used promotions/boosting posts and even tried promoting reels but still my posts didn’t get the attention they deserve- like the content is good I usually spend a lot of time editing and shootings. I recently posted ‘a cry for help’ on Reddit and a guy who seemed he knows what he was talking about promised me that he will help me grow my account and bring awareness to my brand organically. But he emailed me that he checked my profile on Hypeauditor and that 20% of my followers are bots and advised me before he’ll start working with me to remove those bots followers. I started scrolling through them today and removing one by one but it takes ages and it literally breaks my heart seeing that how the numbers go down. What do you advise me to do? Shall I remove all the bots?Is that gonna help me go viral? Im afraid if I do so, I will loose credibility for the new followers that see my page- I feel like in my field the number matters a lot.

Until you remove all the bots your engagement will be lower than without them cause they don't interact with you and IG's algorithm would think that your content is bad.
And because of that your post will reach fewer people.
It's a downward spiral.
It's better to have 1k followers with 100 likes that 10k followers with 200 likes.

Through which we target wide audience from different target/competitors accounts. and then we politely pitch these audience to follow our mother account. and this followers get redirected to the page we have to grow.

How do you suggest I go about the organic growth? Going through my competitor’s followers and interact with them? Is there a service that offers real interaction? Or do I have to do it manually? Many thanks for your reply

That's a good way of getting your main account action blocked on a regular basis.

If you employ the use of fan pages, you can basically have them do the cold outreach on your main account's behalf and be able to scale above the 20 - 30 DMs you'll be able to do per day via manual outreach.

Directly DMing and liking won't help,
There is a proper strategy that need a to be implemented. Sending Dm's directly will drop into the message requests section which has very rare visibility ratio.
