How many countries have you visited?

9 countries. By the end of the year, I believe there will be 11.

But I stay months in each country. I don't like to visit a country for a weekend just to say I was in this country...I like to stay for months, get to know the local people, the culture, and immerse myself in the local day-to-day life. But I understand that many don't have the opportunity for that and most who know more than 10 countries, have spent little time in each one.

That's the real travel, not like us. I am working on that goal also! xD

So in total 39 countries. I didn't count Germany in, since I am from there. I have never been to South or North America, but would love to go there soon.

I just came back from Istanbul, Turkey three days ago. Really amazing city.

I have only visited the United States of America (USA). I live in Canada. It is quite expensive to visit other countries, sometimes you can get a nice price to visit Mexico I guess.

Prices of flights in Canada are indeed ridiculous.
