Ask to the creator of BHW the how he made this heavenly website :anyway: :anyway: :anyway: :anyway: :anyway::D:anyway::D

There are some good scripts to install forum on your server such as vBulletin, PhpBB, MyBB etc.
You can install any script manually, if your host has cPanel, then go to 1-Click installer and then install any forum script I have mentioned. It’s as easy as Installing Wordpress on your server. To run these scripts, there are number of tutorials available on YouTube.

I will ✔
Much appreciated

Don't use any of those mentioned, they have outdated designs and/or security flaws.

Go with Xenforo (same software this site uses) OR something in Wordpress like somebody else mentioned.
As i said i have no experience and im open for all suggestions

Thank you

One more thing: Forums are hard. Social media exist. Your niche needs to be really good or else you will fail, you will need to dedicate a lot of time to it too. Think well before you start one.

Select different forum platforms online, pay and enjoy

can u suggest good Sm script? I used SE ,buddypress

Creating a forum is easy. Filling it with content is next to impossible. Forums are thing from the past. I have seen so many big forums died.

  1. Use a forum CMS from XenForo
  2. Use a forum theme from ThemeHouse (not affiliated)
  3. Customize it with your idea

@Kaaay please pay attention to what people have suggested and weigh whether a forum is worth it. It's so much easier and cheaper to manage a subreddit or a Telegram group. Forums are becoming a thing of the past just like mailing lists. The ones that are still alive and thriving are breaking the trend only because they have a reputation in some very specific niche. Consider creating a forum-like experience on a platform where your audience is already hanging out instead.

So, the forum you're currently on is built with XenForo, objectively the best forum software since vBulletin. However, the starter package alone costs $60/month.

Until you're ready to pay for XenForo, I recommend that you go with a free option such as Flarum or PHPBB.

I'll link you a couple decent beginners tutorials to get you started, but first you'll need:

- A domain.
- Decent hosting (GreenGeeks, A2 Hosting, Hostgator, or find good hosting on our marketplace).

For Flarum, this guide shows you how to self host a small forum + set up guide:

However, here is a set up guide with shared hosting:

Here is a PHPBB tutorial:

Also, this whole YouTube channel has only PHPBB small guides on how to do random things, including set up: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7tNcKKHR1s_rplqH8EsQog

Deciding which forum software you're wanting depends on the UI, look/feel, and customization.

Also, if you want professional help, you can create a thread here and have someone create the forum for you.

Good luck. :)

Please accept my deepest gratitude
