[Question] Best format for a video background or header used in a WordPress page?

Greetings BHW,

I had mainly two questions, first what is the format that is best for fast loading, small sized video to play on loop in the header or background of a website? and what program do you guys use to shrink the video to a website useable size?

For the first question: There are many formats that you can use video on fast loading one is that you can upload the video on Cpanel or fast loading website or google drive and use the link to show the video on the website without loading space

or you can upload the video on the website with the lowest size and decrease the other animation so the website won't get any load and get fast speed, or you can optimize it as well

2nd: to use the video size reducing: ONLINE was one Clideo, Handbrake etc or you can also use the adobe premiere for that

Thanks, even the smallest format takes a sec or so to load which I guess is why noone uses video headers.

Exactly, but still you can use it if the hosting was good enough
