question about the OGAds file locker

When I'm setting up the file locker on ogads, it asks me to fill in a URL to redirect the user to. This confuses me since the only way i can think of getting a URL of a file, is by uploading it to google drive and copying the link from there, but I feel like I'm missing something and I'm just over complicating things. How is it meant to be used?

Yes, you can redirect directly to the file to download or even to a website where they can download the file themselves. There is really nothing to be confused about. You choose where you want to redirect the user to after they complete the offers on the locker.

This is the link where the "user" will go when they completed X amount of offers in your locker.

Of course a file has a URL, if you right-click the file you should be able to share the link. That's the URL

I mean sure, a file has a URL on google drive but is that the only way to directly redirect to the file? Since you cant get the url of the file any other way

Yes, I think you are overcomplicating this. Why would you redirect to the file any other way?

I think he was talking about locking a file like a zip, so people have to complete an offer to be able to open it.
But it's not how it works, you have to upload your file somewhere, and that's this link that will be locked, not the file.
I scratched my head too, because I thought the same as you. Back in time we could let people download a file like a pdf or zip, and lock it. Not anymore.
