I thought for sure I downloaded the image from blackhatworld.com but now can't find it.

I was a link pyramid with the final site being a squidoo lens and then squidoo pointed to the money site.

The squidoo lens was socially bookmarked.

I can't remember anything else except that there were a ton of other web 2.0 sites.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thank you for responding.

The one I'm thinking of was someone posting their own image of how they work their pyramid - I thought it was on this forum.

The creator was also responding to questions.

All I can remember is that most everything pointed to a squidoo lens which pointed to the money site.

BUMP for responses

I was looking for the same thing..

It was this really cool detailed 3d graphics image of the whole thing

You should take a look at BassTrackerBoats' ebook. It isn't specifically a pyramid, but he uses a really good structure, and it has a great graphic showing how it all should be set up. If I remember right he does use squidoo the way you're saying. Or at least in a similar way. His structure is doing the same thing as a link pyramid or a link wheel, but with a much more natural footprint.

Thanks for the kind words, Grey Wolf.

My thoughts on a decent backlinking process is outlined in the free ebook in my sig and the process was developed by me and the reason I wrote everything sown was to give my wife an opportunity to be a part of my IM business.

When I put the ebook together I had the benefit of a couple of valued BHW members offering some ideas as to how to make it even more random than I had initially set it up.

GreyWolf was one of those valued members and deserves certain credit for his help.

The process takes time and does work if you are willing to put in the effort.

Also, do not make this the only way to build backlinks to your sites... use the usual supsects.... forum posts, blog comments, directory submissions etc should also be used in a random chaotic fashion.
