Sudden Drop in views, threshold theory? case study?

Update: Going to upload a new video in a few hours and if it doesn't pop off by next week I will make a new channel with a different niche...
Skeet, is there a way we could talk? I can't PM you here on BHW.

I might have found a solution to this. At least a temporary one.

But, since I am testing things at the moment, I don't want to announce anything officially/publicly or give false hope.

cheers,
D.

There is no view treshold or any of that bs. PM me the channel and your discord or whatever app you use and let's talk if you want.

Newest video, it's been exactly 2 days now since uploaded.

40 Views in total, 18% CTR... and still no push. Can NOBODY tell me the problem is on my end, nobody!

I honestly don't know what do to anymore... I publish the best content ever and nothing happens. I feel like I am uploading videos for myself only at this point...

I will upload a new video today and see if anything changes...

Your momentum a few months ago was boosted by the support provided by youtube.
As far as I have seen, the boost disappears after a few months (usually 6 months).
This is a barrier that many ordinary channel creators have faced.
If you could write a complete write up of the entire process so far, I could advise you on that.

I saw your thread and you seem to have hit the same wall.
If you could describe your process so far, I might be able to give you some advice. A screenshot would be fine.
(However, I am not very good at English, so please don't expect me to write anything advanced HAHA)

My channel is also facing the same kind of problem.
My channel is 5 years old and has 170K sub and 200+ videos.
In the last 7 days, 80 to 90% of views dropped.

And new videos get 200 to 500 views after 48hr; usually, it will be 3k to 10k.

The only change i made was to delete 10 old private videos with very few views.

Does anyone have a solution to recover my channel? Kindly help in this regard. Thank you.

New channels are not restricted, they are encouraged by YouTube. Many videos of new creators go viral because of this.

Your content might have went viral due to some keywords or contet type that was trending at the moment of creation of your account and first videos.
Since it is pretty new as well, if you don't post viral content, you won't be seen by others.
In addition, if you change frequently topics, your account can be inserted in a topic by youtube and therefore all this could be a part of the reasoning.
Still very interesting topic, and i'm not saying it is normal or it should be like that, but trend is key on social medias and online platoforms.

Hello friend. I currently have 2 channels, one is already pulled and everything ok with it.
However, specifically on January 4, I created a new channel, and until January 18 it was going absurdly well, practically already hit the monetization goals, with only 200 hours left. However, when it turned the 18th to the 19th, the views simply DIED. From 350/400 per hour to 5-10 per hour. Can I believe a Shadowban?
I ask you to forgive my bad English because it is not my primary language.
