Stop wasting your time with "affiliate" websites. These affiliate providers have complete control over weather they want to pay you or not. Wasted a lot of time building these only for some wage cuck at Amazon or wherever to ban your affiliate account when ever they feel like it. It's modern day slave labour. Don't relay on any 3rd party to pay you ever.

This is why I prefer to sell my own services.

If I want to do affiliate marketing, I prefer to promote CPA offers using social media and paid ads.

Let me guess you saved Amazon images on your webpage?

Affiliate marketing, especially when combined with SEO, is a great way for IM beginners to start their first project without any investment.

While I agree that it's better to promote your own product/services, you simply can't do so efficiently without budget and resources.

I personally started my IM journey with aff marketing and I'm grateful for it. Thanks to Amazon I quit my job and started doing IM full time.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience.
But it does work for many people so not everyone needs to stop.
But that's a good thing not to depend on 3rd party & maybe build an e-commerce or brand product.

It's best to have other affiliate programs on hand incase one bans you. Don't put all your eggs in one basket

tell me about your affiliate site that got hit by g update :D

Why the extremes bro. I've built a pure Amazon site 7 years ago that we've sold for 6 figures later with my partner.

I agree leadgen and display ads are better nowadays but i wouldn't dismiss affiliate marketing entirely. It's not like it's MLM or something. Just work with reputable networks.

Or bought a certain service on here for Amazon traffic, that is now closed and the seller Shitlisted?

Okay, so you gonna start print money then?
wait you probably don't have the tools for that and need a 3rd party to get that done too
Customers = 3rd party too ;)

This is complete BS. You have to rely on a 3rd party to pay you in every business no matter what you do.

People have made millions with affiliate marketing, it's a viable income source still in 2022.

Payment processors are not a "3rd party".

A 3rd party is someone that controls the money and clients and pays you.

He is absolutely right. Affiliate marketing is a dying industry. Every single 7 figure earner I know has their own product.

10 years ago there was more affiliates, but today you are always better creating your own product.

It was different 10 years ago. It was better to just bank hard with affiliate marketing. Commissions were bigger, competition was less and it was much harder to do things yourself.

By all means keep doing affiliate marketing. If you're clearing 7 figures already then hats off to you.

If customers are 3rd party then who is the 2nd party?

Customers, clients and payment processors are not 3rd party.

You may as well say your bank is 3rd party, but that's not what the term means.

Basically you always want to control the money and customer. If you don't do that you don't have a real business.

You are right, I was thinking more towards the lines of
Despite having the customers and clients.
How is he going to be scaling up to make $$$ monthly without using 3rd party anything.

What happens if one of his "3rd party" breaks down, gets patched, stops functioning, leaves, gone etc, isn't that still being reliant on a "3rd party" regardless
It's modern day slave labour.
Lastly, life entirely is modern day slave labour
Go try live without $, you won't get far.
Doesn't matter how you generate that money, you don't want to work under someone, you do everything on your own, you work under someone, you get told what to do.
At the end of the day, you are working to make that money.
You can tweak it, pretend what you are doing to be glorious, better than anyone else and anything in-between but at the end, without money, you wont go far.

Now Google can kill your affiliate site at any time, 7 years ago there were no algorithms that killed affiliate sites. In addition, the demand for affiliate sites has dropped significantly.

Yes, you're right, the money is now with those who own their own products and services.

I have sold 8 affiliate websites, including 6 figures. All sites now have almost zero traffic. Different owners, different backlinks, different niches.

I had a team, we made websites for sale, but I quit that business. Google killed it.
