Don't you think that it has become super outdated for Wordpress?

The cms used has nothing to do with ranking. Just a correlation bias in your region.
IMO, and from my 15+ years of experience, WordPress ranks better than say a 'naked' React App, just to name an example. Have ran aplenty of A/B tests. Yet you may very well still be right though, a CMS, whether it be WP or another, should not/could not, influence rakings.

You got those results cause your a/b tests were likely flawed. React is primarily client-side rendered and google can't parse it properly. it wasn't until 2020, when Googlebot got some ability to parse client-side rendered content; 7 years after react.js launched. Vanilla react still is hard to parse by googlebot imo.

Most cms today that use frameworks like like react plug it with an SSG or SSR framework. That spits out plain HTML which is easily parsed by search engines, instead of js bundles.

The sites you tested in your A/B likely didn't do any server side rendering. Their content was basically cloaked from Google. Ofc wordpress would rank better in those circumstances. But that doesn't imply the site was ranking cause of the CMS. The other cms you tried probably wasn't intended to be an alternative to wordpress or was poorly engineered and made your content invisible to google.

Ghost is pretty interesting too
take a look at that one

Scorpion... Ghost? :suspicious:

Just HTML and CSS with a sprinkle of PHP. These are the best sites. Everything else is a pretty big jerkoff :p

WP is open source and maintained by a huge and knowledgeable community.
It ranks better because of being prepared to be oriented SEO first.

A naked React APP implies that you, as a developer, build your own SEO plan from scratch

If the website is small/medium use wordpress
If the website is big make a custom cms
Well that requries a lot of expereince and a lot of budget don't you think I have no idea to be honest I am just supposing!

there is lot of alternatives but none ot them so wide and easy like WP
As I said the think is that Wordpress has became so good with anything basically I am just speaking about like something that is perfect for blogging.

Well yea that is true, but you know that currently I am facing a problem with couple of my big blogs that are ranking low metrics wise so that has being a pain in the a** tbh.

Not really. The 'issue' with WP is that people think they need it in order to build a website. It's far more realistic to asses which, if any, CMS you need to get the job done. For example, I could use WP+WooCommerce to build a webshop, but I (and my client) could very well be better off using Shopify instead.

Developers need to listen to the clients' wishes in order to asses which, if any, CMS / stack is best fitting their needs.

Although I must say, a decently built/stripped WordPress-based site still ranks like no other. At least it does in my country.
This is exactly what I am looking for but Instead of shopify I require something made for blogging even tho it has a fee.

Nothing as fast and convenient for simple blogging as WordPress!

Nowadays, I can make a site in literally minutes with WordPress and not need to touch anything, even if I add 10k articles to it.

Well how would you do that ?
Documented every single step so it gets faster for every successive site.

Use a super simple theme such as GP or Astra with my predetermined settings.

Max 2-3 plugins.

It takes me max 15-20 minutes to make a simple blog on Wordpress.
