So, I am a video editor, but I don't have social media, and I'm making a new Instagram account. I would like to target potential customers to follow them with an Instagram bot. So, I will be doing the follow/unfollow method on a slow rate. I've done this before and I know how to do it properly, but I just can't figure out whom to follow exactly. Who would be interested in video editing? Should I scrape followers from most popular video editing services on the internet?

Do you also record the video OP? video editing can be such a big world, even worse if you don't know your own buyer persona.

scraping followers of your competitors is definitely #1, focus on reels showing the process and techniques to educate and engage your audience.

Maybe try to scrape youtube chanels owners or tik tokers as well.

Video editing is a labor intensive job. You should accept low volume but high quality jobs. I highly doubt you'll find clients by f/uf on instagram. But you can always try.

You can go for other video editing accounts and scrape followers from there. Also, join your niche-based Facebook groups and be on the lookout for posts over there. People post requirements for an editor in those groups as well.

I have probably 1000+ examples of my work because I'm in video editing for almost 10 years and I would like to use that to get more customers.

Yeah, but I would like for them to contact me instead of going around and contacting people all the time.

Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to try that.
