Got scammed by linkerbuzz.com - for an article on theverge.com

Hi

I bought theverge.com editorial link for $400 , i sent as goods payment but they refunded it and asked us to send as personal to continue with order , same with forbes.com for $2000 they asked me to send $2000 as personal ...i just sent them $400 for one link , after that i will send for forbes i said ..few days after they told me they have to decline my order so i asked for refund and its been more than 1 week and they did not send me refund , i disputed as unauthorized transaction but that resulted in their favour .So i am down $400 for nothing , they tried to rip me off another $2000 but could not fortunately. .


Just a warning , don't pay them any money upfront.

OP - their site is such a blatant attempt at a money grab. How did you find them? Did you do your due diligence? Why didn't you visit a trusted seller on this forum?

But you can visit the Market place Link section - https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/seo-link-building.43/

Check the various seller, see how long they've been selling here, check their prices, check positives reviews from other individuals, check negative reviews etc. I'd personally go for sellers who have a high amount of positive reviews from other established members on the forum.

If you post an interest in public on the forum, you may get a lot of PMs from people - which no one is allowed to send - since all sale should happen within the marketplace. If that happens, just click the "Report" button to tell the moderators that you received an unsolicited PM.

Since the ticket size is really high on these links, it's a "favorite" among a lot of scammers.

Don't fall for "Tall Claims". Go with proven sellers with a proven history on the forum.

i found them on google search .they rank well.I did my due dilligence but couldn't find anything so went with them , hopefully others won't.

Ask bank of card to open a chargeback or dispute. They should give you your money back by fighting for you

how did you receive that paypal balance? someone paid you? or did you add funds with bank transfer/deposit?

if you got paid to that account that resulted in paypal balance, you can ask the guy that paid you to open a dispute with paypal to refund him, or call his bank to open a chargeback and then make that customer pay you in other paypal account or in another way.

If the seller did not complete the order, and the transaction started within the BHW marketplace, then you can start shitlist to get the order completed or to get a refund

Be careful when you are spending more money on unverified sellers
