Blogging is hard; I'm not going to lie to you about that.
It's difficult staying motivated.
It's difficult sticking with the plan and produce content consistently.
But you know what will make your blogging journey even more difficult?
Choosing a topic that you have zero interest or passion about.
Now I know you might be thinking, "well yeah, that's obvious, Emily!"
But it's not obvious to some people because I see bloggers out there who are stuck in the "following every trend" world.
They post about topics that they don't even like or care about, and it's SO evident that they're half-heartedly writing content.
It's tempting to write about topics you know will generate money but aren't really interested in.
But this isn't sustainable for most people.
The truth is, if you want to stick with it long-term, you need to love what you're writing about.
And I know that sounds cheesy but it's SO true.
You're not going to be able to consistently produce great content if you're writing about something that bores you.
You'll get burnt out quickly.
You won't have the motivation to keep going.
It's just not worth it!
So my challenge for you is to find a topic that interests you and stick with it!
I promise you, blogging is so much easier when you're writing about something you enjoy.
If you're passionate about your topic, the rest of the blogging journey will be smooth sailing.
