Yahoo pipes is a great tool.I wrote about some ways to use it on my backlink builder site.

You have to scroll down to see all the tools.The backlink checker and link popularity tool will show results in the same area.

As for the earlier comment about yahoo pipes, it's fucking fantastic for some things. I've definitely used it for a handful of projects that turned out very well. I'm comfortable coding my own things, but for anything that you need a quick solution, it's awesome.
