I like POS , but in case you stole 100millions and you want to move it , the government can force the stacked nodes to avoid the transfer ( do not confirm the transaction ) which is not the case in PoW ( origin idea of decentralized chain of bitcoin )

That said, it will be the very reason Ethereum becomes one of the few remaining cryptocurrencies after regulation

How can you force a node when you don't know where in the world it's connected? You can hide a PoS node easier than a PoW mining facility.

Not everyone is going to be able to run nodes unless you are rich or you are a big company or you are very rich or you have lots of money. Oo

True fact , I hope that the bitcoin whales threat is real. If they force Ethereum to be PoS I'm sure bitcoin is next , the result will be like :
Bitcoin said : I'm not merging to PoS and I will double up my price.
