Avoid using Njalla is a big joke

I was aware that njalla is a joke from previous BHW posts and that they steal your domains as soon they see some traffic momentum, I was running for 9 months my project with a njalla registered domain, gladly one month ago I transferred all my customers and products to a hostinger domain. I chose njalla because of privacy reasons but avoid it if you planning on running a project for long term

Tell us what you were running on them then. And tell us the domain names. Let us see for ourselve. Since they're apparently no longer under your control, there's no reason to hide it from us.
Or else there's no reason for an entire market to avoid them just because one guy is pissed at them for what might be completely justified reasons.

Njalla is not an ICANN-accredited registrar, they're just a service that buys domains on your behalf and hold them for you. Not saying that they really steal domains, but there is nothing stopping them from doing it. With a real registrar, you can complain to ICANN if the registrar doesn't cooperate with you.

illegal activity is also using images that are copyrighted or running game hacks as a cpa marketer, they claim to be DMCA ignored so I thought they were more hardcore than your average namecheap to the least. As one of the owners is a cofounder of pirate bay hehe

As previously stated in this thread, they are not a registrar and they only hold your domain at a regular registrar (iirc they used Namecheap before and now they seem to use Tucows).
They won't and can't really "ignore" DMCA complaints or domain suspensions as Tucows, which the domain is registered at will take it down themselves.

Therefore there is really very little difference to you buying your domain at Tucows or Namecheap yourself as you have nearly the exact same circumstances but with the risk of Njalla taking your domain away from you for a reason they deem worthy.

Another risk that no one seems to be mentioning is that Njalla is holding a lot of domains to shady sites so if their service becomes notorious (or rather more notorious than it is now), then perhaps it will be targeted and taken down which could lead to ALL domains being lost.

The only "advantage" to using Njalla is that your personal details won't be shown if there is a subpoena which is only handy if you're running an illegitimate service.

that's quite un-professional reply from Njalla.
I always stated in my many posts (replies) to avoid Njal.la whenever anyone asks for Njal.la reviews. You can find better, and safe alternatives to Njal.la on google or on BHW here. Register only throwaway domains with Njalla, so even if those domains get traffic and then they suspend and steal (confiscate) your domains, you'll not be at huge loss if it is not your money-site.

Indeed i agree. Namecheap, dynadot, porkbun, directnic - all 4 will suspend domain registration without replying to chat or even email you. Good ones are Namesilo (they do not accept DMCA if you don't host domain on their hosting platform), Ourdomains.com (they'll need registered copyright in copyright office for any copyrighted work say text, image, video), then there is todaynic/eranet from China/HK,
then.. futher..
The-Online.com from Netherlands/U.S (just forward DMCA to domain-owner, and do nothing unless its really illegal content like phishing), Shinjiru.com from Malaysia is also one which I used. Don't give a fu** about DMCA but if anyone complaints to Malaysian authorities, then they'll act.
