Am I doing something wrong on Shorts?

It also depends on what country you are posting from or choosing what country to show it to (in the beginning)...of course later on if it goes viral, it'll even out and be viewable in any country at equal exposure. I did Khaby Lame experiments where I posted his vids on youtube and tiktok and none of them went viral. But the videos from Khaby Lame channel itself are viral. So it proves that it's not about the content but it's about who is showing it/where it's being shown from...that source has to be promoted or put in the spotlight where millions are seeing it even if they didn't want to see it.

I make travel videos, and am having issues with no longer being served up to USA traffic. It's not being mostly Spain, I'm on a long vacation in Spain posting vids of Spain. But how to get them to USA traffic is a puzzle, any suggestions? thank you so much

If your account is set to location as US and you are still getting only views from another country and not US, then I'd say you need to try and share the video on some sites, forums, other social media where you can reach US audience. I think the algorithm may have decided to focus your video on spain because most of the viewers are now coming from there and if US viewers aren't watching, it may decide to show it less to US audience. Once it detects more US audience is watching your videos it will go back to promoting or ranking/sharing your video maybe to more US audiences again.
