A New Life in a different Country

I did not write for a long time here, because my life is changing a lot right now.

I actually left germany and moved to Bulgaria.

I found a good friend here on BHW who helps me a lot to set me up in the new country. I already have a amazing Appartment here and started the process for a company here.

This Country is amazing and very cheap. Food and Cigarettes are so cheap here. In Germany its all twice as expensive and it was very difficult to survive. Here its like heaven for me.

People are very friendly here and not so superficial as in Germany.

I have so much to tell about the move. But i dont even know where to start hahaha.

I thought i will just share my experience with you all. I actually moved with wife and our child (infant). Means it was risky but well worth it.

Would you guys consider leaving a tier 1 country to go the full IM way?

Or would you stay and pay full taxes?

Did you found real life friends on BHW? I found quite a few here.

Yes, I have. BHW over the years has become a second home for me. I’ve been a part of several communities in the past decade but none have resonated with me like BHW. There’s definitely some quality people on this board. You have to sift through the clowns, the asswipes, the gurus and the scammers but it was worth it for me. A lot of people I’d want to share a beer with one day. (Ungagged?)

I understand you and your experience. I'm planning a move to Spain right now, and I've already familiarized myself with taxes, complicated issues, the apartment, and other things. Moving is always very difficult and takes a lot of energy and money. I'm really glad you were able to move!

Not only because of tax and cost, but it was a major reason. The other reason was the people and the stressful life -> work and earn as much as possible or you get threated like shit if you are poor.

I dont have a family. Only my own founded one and i never found friends in germany, even though i grew up there. Mainly because i was sick very long time and not able to work, which as said means, no one likes you. If you get social benefits, people dont want to be friends with you, thats atleast my experience after 25 years.

My wife have friends and still in contact with them. We have Telegramm and also WhatsApp today, which makes it super easy.

But i dont have contacts there.
