Hi malachute,
Following your steps, I have reach the 0nlywire portion and registered 10 0nlywire accounts.
When I go to the /Services of each account, I saw that there are a total of 33 social sites that you can register.
So for the 10 accounts, should I registered each with 33 sites which mean I will then registered 10x33 = 330 social site accounts ? ..sounds tough..

But do you think it will attempt to post to all 33 sites for each account of every new post made ?

Code:
[i] .. Onlywire will only post five times in a day.[/i]
For the above statement, if the standard plugin only post 5 times a day, for each time, does it post to all 33 social sites ?

appreciate some clarification on this due to my weak understanding of things technical

Thanks for the help!
I have one more question :(
I read the information about "domain name" in the fisrt post, however I have some doubts ...
Assuming that I want that the niche for my first autoblog is "hair".. I make some keyword research and check that I can't have an autoblog on "hair" niche because have a lot of competition ... so I go to keywords like "hair style", "hair gel" and "hair shampoo" and check that it's easier be #1 on google for this keywords ( "hair style", "hair gel" and "hair shampoo" ) ... so my question is ... the domain for my autoblog should be haironline.com (and have diffrent categories for "hair style", "hair gel" and "hair shampoo") or hairstylegelshampoo.com (and have too difrent categories for "hair style", "hair gel" and "hair shampoo")

Thank you
PS: I hope that you understand my question( my native language isn't English so it's normal that I have mistakes on my post :o )

For the shadowbox theme, how do you change the background color of the header through the style.css? I'm ripping my hair out since nothing seems to be working.

Dude, extremely helpful post.

I love this site. It is refreshing to get to a place where people actually help each other to Get Things Done, after spending too much time over at DP.

My autoblogging career is starting this weekend :-)

Very detail info , that makes me inspired and start again autoblog

Really really thanks very much.
I hope after reading this I will be able to have my first Autoblog with
the help of this guide.

Thanks for the thread. 1 question if you don't mind.

What do you do to posts with inline backlinks to their site?

eg. ... http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/backlink%20to%20original%20site%201 makes the http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/backlink%20to%20original%20site%202...

I'm only giving their website 1 backlink. Autoblogged strips out all the links with the excerpts so you can modify how and where you want the post to link to. Personally I give credit to the original post but with a web 2.0 backlink anchor text. Eg. Linking to a post on techcrunch I'm only using the sentence: read the rest on techcrunch <!links to thread-> and I'm not using the post title as a backlink as that will give them a boost in the SERPS for those keywords.

Just edit the post template on how the credit sentence looks like. (can show mine on request)

What an Awesome Thread. Thanks for all the information.

I'm going to start autoblogging now.

Great thread,I have got many tips, and will build it step by step.
Thanks again.

Great Thread, Thanks.

I have one question.

With these articles that your posting on your site with auto blogging, are these all article that people have giving permission to re-post?

What I am trying to ask here, is, why are you not running into problems with copyright infringement using other peoples content?

Thanks
Jamie

Would anyone know of a good piece of software that lets you manage all the blogs from one point I've noticed that time constraint is one of the big limiting factor and I'm looking to automate this a bit more. Thanks!

Perfect guide! I really like it, i gonna use some of techniques you mentioned there. For now i have one question.
I have added my adsense code on first day of run on my autoblog (adsense code was embeded whit in theme so i had do put there my pub-id). Now after month later, i want to completely redesign my autoblog, and remove adsense for now (going to add it later). Would that be good idea ?

Btw im probably doing something wrong here coz i get only around 10 - 15 visitors a day, i use wprobot to pull articles (rewritten through google translate) and content seems to be unique.

You didn't mention how often you post and about ping services. Aublog post update can be very frequently and will ping on every update. It's that okay ?

Just one question though, why is it that the post names are directed to the original site when it gets clicked?

This is true when using wp-o-matic.

Is it just me or is this just the way how wp-o-matic works? Coz i have UAW and they all work fine.

Would appreciate feedbacks on this one. :)

Hi again,

Doing my monthly check up on the forum :P I've only been active here for a short period of time until I learned everything there was for me on autoblogs. I'm still around so if you still have any questions, please post em :)

Thanks for the thread. 1 question if you don't mind.

What do you do to posts with inline backlinks to their site?

eg. ... Nokia makes the best cell-phones...

Just us the post template which you can find inside the options of any autoblog plugin. Do something like this:

%content%

All credits go to the original writer, found on: <a target="_blank" href="%link%" title="%title%">Nokia Phones</a>.

That should just about do it, you shouldn't need any other plugins that link for you TO others websites. What you can do is install SEO smart links , which makes inside post links to your own posts for some extra 'seo'. lolz

Old post, not sure if you tried it already. 0nlywire sends you a report once a post has been submitted to all the social networks you entered your account login info for. Meaning if you entered all the account data into every social network, theoretically you should be able to get 5 (onlywire profiles) x 5 (posts) x 33 = 825 backlinks per day. That's not what I'm getting though, or would want to. I'm more interested in facebook - twitter and some other big ones.

Check the post out once again and check the mail I keep getting from 0nlywire. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help!

Personally I would go for something like a company name, not a keyword rich domain name. For example: I made a real estate website with the name Realjaa (don't link thank you very much...), it's still in heavy development because I'm making my own content generator but the basis is there already.

With all the new improvements in search at Google, you should better focus on making websites that are actually worth visiting rather than uber junk. Might be me, but you gain more authority inside the search results if you go with a company name rather than keywords itself. Think about the future too, in the very far future, searching keywords won't be something we will be doing, but rather ask questions to the search engine and it will give an answer back (it's called semantic web - web 3.0). Wolfram alpha's SE is one example, but it's a bit too early. Google knows this and starts to buy big social networks and incorporate more and more stuff together into one big website that will eventually be your start page in the future. (say hi to Google buzz! - just introduced)

next...

For the shadowbox theme, how do you change the background color of the header through the style.css? I'm ripping my hair out since nothing seems to be working.

Sorry mate, but I shouldn't have used it for an example. I was having a bit of problems too designing it and just sticked to what I early had :D

No probs mate. Eventually you outlearn everything in life and those things you used to do don't seem to be that insightful anymore. DP is way low level for me now, while it may be an awesome treasure of information to others.

When I didn't knew shit about blogging, I thought Darren Rowse of Problogger was a good source. Now I think he's just shouting shit to noobs in order to make money from them. He got in there early, and reaps the benefit of unknowing people.

Hi Malachute, I'm noob in autoblog and I want to start my first autoblog with adsense so I have a question regarding this. How many autoblogs shall we make on one computer (means same ip)? and my second question is that I'm using free hosting and domain service for my autoblog. I haven't money to purchase domain and hosting service, so will it effect my SEO ranking and indexing problem? I will not get organic traffic? My third and last question is very important for me and others new members, How many plugins we can use for auto content like WPmixer and WP Robot etc? I have seen video promotion of WPmixer and WP Robot, both looking great for me and as well as easy to handle this. That's why I'm preferring WPMixer plugin for auto contents and I have just 5 to 6 keywords for my targeting Niche so confusion is that how many keywords are important for any niche and how can we enter all the keywords at a time? and I think that's why it called autoblog, just set and forget a maintenance.

I am extremely waiting for precious reply and guidance.

Regards,
Umee

Hi,

Buy a server for 5 bucks a month (I'm with hostgator and their support is suberb, they respond in chats within the minute, as is there server speed/bandwidth etc).

Don't host any blogs on your own computer. But get a server with either a shared IP or a dedicated one and don't place more than 10 blogs on it. If you reached it, just buy a new server account.

Not sure about shared hosting and SEO. It has nothing to do with either I think because Google rates you over what you present them, not on what server it is. But yes if the others on your shared account are fucking it up, you could be penalized as well for being on the same IP and such.

Haven't had any time to test WProbot, but I would only use it for Yahoo answers and video's. You should use other autoblog software for articles.

I have Autoblogged Error occurred retrieving feed.

failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/a2430719/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/autoblogged/file.php at line 216

please help me how to fix it.

Means you either did a wrong installation (followed the guide on autoblogged?) or it means you haven't giving 755 premissions. Not sure though.

Great Thread, Thanks.

I never ask to republish their content, you don't need to. You are providing them a credit link and you should make sure you don't present it in a way that it seems you have written it yourself.

If they do sent me an email, I'll take the website down and build 10 more to extract it from their website. I think it's called the GPU licence, meaning you can't take credit for something you haven't made - and with an appropriate credit link you don't do so. So don't worry and steal a long.

Perfect guide! I really like it, i gonna use some of techniques you mentioned there. For now i have one question.

Make sure you're website is looking like a real one, I've seen countless of cheap looking website in the same situation like yours. Google tracks everything, if they see your visitors are leaving your website within 1-3 seconds, you get penalized. Meaning you will only rank for long tailed searches which aren't profitable.

Can't say much more about other than that you should verify your website at Google and Yahoo. I'm not having any problems with my new autoblogs.

My tech blog for example has 70.000 indexed pages after 4 months time... and getting about 600-700 visitors a day. Not bad for 100% duplicate content :)

You didn't mention how often you post and about ping services. Aublog post update can be very frequently and will ping on every update. It's that okay ?

I let wordpress ping everything itself, no plugin to do that extra or whatever. I have a tech blog which gets about 200 posts a day for 4 straights months now making me about 10 bucks a day (still growing steadily) with 70.000 pages indexed in Google.

Just one question though, why is it that the post names are directed to the original site when it gets clicked?

This is true when using wp-o-matic.

Is it just me or is this just the way how wp-o-matic works? Coz i have UAW and they all work fine.

This has to do with the plugin. Check the options, otherwise use autoblogged :P

It's WP o Matic for sure.

Think I got all the questions so far. If not let me know :)

Hi, and what a great post!
I have set up some autoblogs with Autoblogged, but I'm struggling a bit.
Care to make a quick tutorial on how to set up Autoblogged?

Thanx
