I second that Malachute!

Seriously you don't need to buy any eBook whatsoever; all the information is already given on the internet and here on BHW. (no pun intended to those selling eBooks, just pointing that out for beginners before they waste their money and give up before even starting).

Hi, and what a great post!
I have set up some autoblogs with Autoblogged, but I'm struggling a bit.
Care to make a quick tutorial on how to set up Autoblogged?

Thanx

Rolf

Will do that tomorrow first thing Rolf :)

@Malachute: What you prefer, wpomatic or autoblogged?
I have 1 autoblog that running with wpomatic, its celebrity niche, have 500 indexes on google, but still zero visitor come. Any suggest will be appreciate. Thanks

*could we chat via pm or ym?*

First of all, I would like to say that Malachute is a great teacher here in this post. It took some learning on my part in making my blog and i am still not finished with it.

Currently I have one auto blog set up and I have been averaging 320 visits a day for the past 5 days. I have found if you follow Malachute's process step by step, you can have the site up and running once you put your mind to it.

Not to discourage anyone, but gathering the feeds for autoblogged is a bit of a pain in the rear end because it is time consuming. It took me 2 days to add 107 feeds. Setting up Onlywire accounts is a charm compared to the Autoblogged feeds.

I have my site indexed at Google and I even have a top ten ranking in google for my site which i am proud of. I can only thank one person for this and it is Malachute. Thanks a ton mate.

Autoblogged for sure, that's nearly the first thing I upload to any new autoblog. When I started autoblogging I went with WPoMatic but it gave me a very bad experience and I actually thought of quitting. Downloaded an illegal version of autoblogged (yesyes) to give it another try, it actually went well I and bought a legal copy.

Not a sales pitch, but wp o matic needs a big update to be honest.

Do your autoblog posts get indexed on their own or do you take hand in it? Do Autoblogs develop a Pagerank on tehir own, over time? Would Autoblogs be a good idea for getting an authority website that you would use for backlinks? Thanks.

What are the optimum settings for Autoblogged feeds? I just got an email saying one of my sites was overloading the server.

How many feeds should you have for each blog and how often to run etc?

Thanks

Mark je bent een held! I'm also in the process of starting to auto-blog, and this posts really helps and encourages me. I can tell you from my own experience that the Adsense set up with 2 table cells next to each other will work really wel, CTR of 20% can be normal.

First of all, this is my first and I want to say thank you for posting this thread. About this autoblogging, just a newbie and I never thought there will be such thing as this until I read this thread, the good thing is I'm on it. I better start downloading the needed tools now and autoblogging, here I come. :D Good Luck to me.

My onlywire had 46 unprocessed items in the pending work queue in 2 hours already. What should I done? Have I made a mistake? I had taken almost 2 hours to registered to all the bookmarking sites. Please someone help me.. :(

I'm sure that it's mentioned in this thread but who is it best to host your autoblog???

Posting some images for the amount of visitors i'm getting for this month. It's with an .info domain btw on hostgator ;) Not a lot of work done as well - same test blog as I stated at the start of the thread. You can digg up the link somewhere - it's hidden, hehe.

What I've been doing the past 2 month? Set up about 8 more blog likes this one. They are still maturing though. It's not hard to let the Google bot index everything as I noticed you hardly need any links for them to come and keep coming back.

I believe in creating quality autoblogs rather than massing out spam blogs. I've been reading a lot of crap from others that they aren't getting indexed whatsoever.

A while ago I did buy WProbot (with all modules included) and set up 2 autoblogs with that one. Letting it scrape articles and such, the blogs do not drive that much traffic a day compared to my autoblogged (plugin) autoblogs. Not boasting the plugin, it's just an observation.

Also I had my first legal contact with an website owner in the Netherlands (http://iwereld.nl/), in his first email to me he immediately threatened me with an lawyer and a legal fine for 3000 euro (about 4000 dollars) that I had to pay within the next 3 days. Because I also live in the Netherlands I emailed him back saying that I wanted to talk to his lawyer (attorney) about the blog. He didn't respond back, but because we are in the same country, I did take down the blog by using the htaccess (yes the blog isn't down at all - it is still running if I remove the 2 lines of redirection code).

So what I did to avoid further legal actions was to redirect the blog to another real (not automated) blog. After a week remove the redirection and make sure to tick the ping another blog option in wordpress so they don't get notified whenever the plugin posts.

Settings -> Discussions -> disable: Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article (slows down posting.)

Problem with this is that you don't get anymore trackbacks linking back to your blog, but it won't notify that you link to them, allowing you to continue autoblogging.

thanks a lot my friend. its really a good one. i have few questions if you would like to answer them (thanks):

1. is it wise to use sub domain and create 5-10 sites from one domain

2. does the adsense payment make any difference in case of sub doimain or if i host 10-15 domain on one host as they will have only one ip.

3. now for social marketing do i need to open all the account one by one (thats lots but doable). now since i use fb, should i open different ones only for marketing purpose?

i think thats all i can remember what i was thinking i will ask u.

If you add "nofollow" to the link in template i think u can leave the title of the article and no worries about getting them help in SERPs
Ex: <a target="_blank" href="%link%" title="%title%" rel="nofollow">%title%</a>
What do you say?

Great guide...but aren't autoblogs supposed to be 'set up and forget'? You have written
-----------------------------------------------------------------
%if:video%<p>%video%</p>%endif:video%
%if:thumbnail%<p>%thumbnail%</p>%endif:thumbnail%
<p>%excerpt%</p>
The full story can be read/found on <a href="%link%" title="%title%" target="_blank">WEBSITE NAME HERE</a>

Replace the 'website name here'
------------------------------------------------

Is there a way to automate this? IF I have to replace manually, it defeats the purposes doesn't it?
Thanks

That is the part of setting the blog up ;)

It's just an post template for the posts the autoblog plugin creates and it is part of you adding the feeds to the plugin.

Another example I'm using:

%if:image%<p>%image%</p>%endif:image%

%excerpt%.

Find more on <a target="_blank" href="%link%" title="%title%">CNET</a>

You can automate it by copy pasting it in every feed you create :P Only thing you need to change is the link name.

Hi, ok got it...thanks..
Tell me..since you are not rewriting or translating the posts...isn't duplicate content a problem with google?
