I see a lot of new or old members of BHW piss their pants and make desperate HELP ME threads when they get hit by a Negative SEO Attack. So I decided to share a little method that can protect your website from any negative SEO attack. G is smart enough now to detect a simple negative SEO attack but if you get hit by a pro your website will tank 100%.

What you will need:

- Scrapebox ( shoutout to @Sweetfunny )
- A backlink monitor like Ahrefs
- G Search Console
- G disavow tool

A backlink monitor is an extra precaution, you can set G alerts to notify you when you get a new backlink or multiple backlinks. From my experience is better to have extra precautions in place.

Game plan:

1.) This method requires some prevention. You have to constantly export your clean backlink profile from G Search Console especially if you constantly build clean backlinks. Archive that shit.

2.) When you and if you get hit with backlinks from MidgetPukePorn.com , download the infected backlink profile from G Search Console or Ahrefs, fire up Scrapebox import the infected backlinks and use your last exported clean backlink profile as a filter to filter the MidgetPukePorn.com backlinks.

3.) Export and save the MidgetPukePorn.com backlinks because you will use these infected backlinks as a filter for the next waves of bad links. Upload the infected backlinks to G disavow tool.

4.) When the next wave come, use the clean backlinks profile and the infected one as filters in Scrapebox to expose the new infected backlinks. Update the infected list with the new bad links and upload the new infected backlinks profile to G disavow tool.

5.) Rinse and repeat until Timmy the Blackhat Hacker gets bored or runs out of money.

This method worked for me every time even when I got hit by real pros. I hope this method will help the members of BHW to protect their websites from a negative SEO attack.

Great share! Let's say the site is already hit with such attack and you just found out about it, how long until Google will return some rankings? Assuming you update your disavow file daily/weekly.

The idea is to move fast and to constant monitor your website....if G takes any action against your website because of the neg SEO attack 90% of the times you will not recover.

If you apply the method above fast and sustained you will not see any rank tanking at all.

Even when it’s an established e-commerce site? Because majority of businesses only realize neg SEO attack after their ranks tank.

I've seen 12 years old authority website that was gone forever from the search results after a clever negative SEO attack.

Prevention is key here.

That mean I have to monitor all the time the backlinks linked to my site right?

Yes....you can do it manually (free) or automated (expensive).....I chose the automated way because I have alot of money websites. If you have few websites you can use a reminder and visit GSC once per week.

Great. Protection is important. Hope I'll never get hit by a SEO Attack. It was helpful, thanks.

i guess a negative seo attack on an adult site is not possible? :)
