98.643 % of the warnings are educational and not punitive.

We are not out to hurt you as staff but rather to help you understand we have rules to keep this joint as it should be.

Get the warning, see why it was given, if you do not understand ask the Mod that gave it to you and converse.

We are actual people and our vision here is to make this a better place for all involved.

I sort of get embarrassed when I get a warning. :D

Ps: I understand it's all for good. Pointing at the right direction.

I got 1 in 2015. Rule reminder. I can't even remember what it was for!!!!

I got a warning, and I'm not pissed. I actually learned about the forum rules.

I really wanted to reply to this thread today, it was very hard form me to control not to. But I took a moment and read the warning message again. Came back to the thread and left only a one word reply "bookmarked" because it seemed like the thread was in violation of forum rules. Turns out it really was and is now deleted.

Narrow escape, else would have been 2 warnings back to back! :D

Not pissed off :D

But, how many warnings would we need before RIP?

Never got a warning but there was a time my comment was deleted with no explanation which pissed me off.

I got my fair share of warnings from BTB.

At first, I started to develop a grudge towards him but, now, I got nothing but respect for him and all the other mods that make this community such an amazing place to hang out, gather very insightful ideas, opinions, discussions, methods, guides, etc., for free.

Even after being active here for a couple of years, I still got a few warnings for making "newbies-like" mistakes.

But hey, nothing but love for you all.

Members that get pissed off are actual people to, never forget that. Reacting over injustice is a healthy thing, as long as one does not abuse others.
Moreover, BHW has a ton of rules scattered all over the place and it becomes difficult to read everything. It would be difficult even for mods to organize everything as IM is complex unlike many other forum topics. It's understandable if some people make mistakes because they don't know the rules.

BHW is the most lenient forum out there. If you want a taste of what authoritarian mods are like, try interacting on ANY subreddit.

This comment is better than my initial post.

I need to hire you as my content person as what you said was more inclusive and better said than I did above.

I deserved my warning. I wasn't paying attention to how I was saying something, even if the intent behind it was completely different. Now I pay more attention! I didn't think of it as a punishment but a chance to grow as a better forum member. So, I guess I appreciated mine rather than despised it.

I gave you that warning.

I do not remember the details but you got the point as it was just a nudge to walk a straighter line here; you got the message there and that is the message here.
