I've tried reading books multiple time of multiple types and genre but every time I reach a certain stage, I just get bored and eventually Quit.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

I'm just trying to develop a habit, but there is so much information out there that I easily get OVERWHELMED
Take it easy, step by step. Don't look at it like at something boring. Instead of this, look at it like when you start to go to gym for example. First 2-3 weeks are the worst. After that, everything will become a nice & healthy habit.

Why do you wan´t to develop a reading habbit if you get bored? Do you have a lot of PC friends to impressI
No, Actually I intend to take a couple of competitive exams and Book Reading Appears to be a must for those

I'll try this for sure, Thank You.

You don't motivate yourself
You Discipline yourself

Started learning German a month or so ago, I couldn't even sit and study for 15 min, now I sit for 5 hours straight studying like a dumass
You just say to yourself, this shit needs to be done, you need to think "this is the only thing I need to do" or " If I don't do it, I will fucking die''
or some shit like that, anyway, you get the point.

Daamn, that was helpful!

While there are multiple depths to talk about when it comes to discipline, @Sardi did make a point by mentioning it.

The brain ALWAYS wants to stay in a comfort zone. Whenever you bring something new it will make not do it. You just have to get past that.

It's a bit more complicated than that, and I could write about this for hours. But you might want to look it up and see what the issue is.

Whenever you feel frustrated, or agitated when about to start something, always remind yourself it will pass after around 4 minutes. Usually, that adrenaline/epinephrine you get when you don't want to do something but do it anyway, converts into dopamine and after a few minutes, it will actually make you enjoy doing it.

Regret weighs more than effort.

Now that I've said that, while I do agree some books need to be read, I really wouldn't go about reading whatever I can find just so I can read something.

I would more easily read 5 books about someone in the past, so I can learn something, rather than some novel.

Whenever you dislike something, try to change your internal representation about it.

"Boy, I need to read for the next 5 hours. That sure sucks, I rather go play pokemon go" can be "For the next 5 hours, I'll educate myself about <x> topic, so I can get a bigger raise/promotion/whatever. This sure is smart, I'll thank me later"

Go on forums.
I never read a book and when I joined forums like BHW I kept myself reading for hours each day

English level went from understandable to almost native.

You don't "get" bored and quit.

You CHOOSE to be bored and quit. How can aiming for your goals ever be boring? :)

Some books to read
-The courage of being Disliked By Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga
-The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday
- The Book Of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi

It goes without saying, but you have to read things you're genuinely interested in, lol. If you have no motivation to learn/ topics that fascinate you, it'll be hard to force yourself. Nowadays there is a forum/subreddit/website for literally EVERYTHING. Get to researching.

You can't force yourself to like something. You can get used to that, but what's the point?

I like reading because it allows me to imagine the story, characters, and scenery. If that's not something you want to do, why bother?

I got bored after a while while reading a book, but I'm hungry to read the e-book text aloud, it's more enjoyable to follow with headphones and I'm not bored I'm writing from Turkey sorry for my bad english
