Hey guys, just curious on your opinion in using websites like Jasper AI to write blogs for local SEO.

I've done a couple and have seen some boost in rankings (not 100% if it's correlated to the articles)

If you do use an AI which is your favorite and why?

Obviously you'll edit the article and add some touches ^

AI content is not a problem. On my personal level, I even use a lot deepl translator coupled with wordai for my local service pages (money pages) and authority building blog articles when i'm lazy and it works pretty well. Just make sure you're providing value in your areas of service and everything will go smoothly.

I agree here. You can even use duplicated content on location pages. Local SEO = ranking your google maps listing in the top 3. Content doesn't matter much here. Would worry more about appending location data on the location pages.

For example: if I offer lawn care in Ventura, CA but have location pages for Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Camarillo, and Moorpark I'll want to create a lawn care location page for each.

Lawn care in Ventura
Lawn Care in Thousand Oaks
And so on...

The lawn care company generic copy can be AI, duplicate, or whatever.

But then I populate with the same data google provides on locations.

Knowledge panel data like population, elevation, and etc.
People also search for
Colleges and universities
Direction to the business from various locations

I mix it up. Sometimes I'll name a landmark and link out to the Google result for the landmark. Or sometimes I'll hyperlink the driving directions from my business to the landmark.

The biggest problem with with AI content is fact-checking.

While you can use human input to correct grammar structure and other wrongs

Fact-checking is simply going to consume a good amount of time

Might as well write the article yourself.

Fact checking local service content??? Nah

XD XD XD. I don't usually include directions from different locations especially when it's a service provider who moves to the clients' place. How effective is it?

Do you create a separate paragraph like '' Our location Miami '' and write all in the single place or do you instead spread it all over the page?

How effective is it? Well it's just seasoning on what you're already doing. Every little thing helps. However, if you think you're going to be able to simply add driving directions and get a boost, thats not how it works. It just should be added to your current strategy.

Doesn't matter. All of my location pages look the same minus the specific data on the location.
