Guys, I need your help, cause i'm a total n00b with crypto.

Since exoclick stopped working with paypal, I decided to use coinbase to receive my (first) payment in ETH. They just paid me today, 50E, but in my coinbase wallet/transfer I see i received 40E.... I contacted exo, explained, and they say they have 0% transfer fees.

So my question is, does coinbase take off a fee of some kind?

thanks.

https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/trading-and-funding/pricing-and-fees/feesCoinbase charges fee case by case. In general, it is quite high. As a result, I have stopped using coinbase.

Even when you receive payments from Exoclick??

Should have chosen to be paid in something other than eth, the fee's are ridiculous.

Yes, they charge fees and report to the IRS.

Why not just use a wallet to receive your earnings?

I know a website that takes payments via Coinbase. Yes, I can confirm that while some of their services are free, there are occasions and scenarios where they do charge a fee. Well, it's their right. No? You can buy and sell crypto anytime. So, why not?
