I'm trying to complete a transaction outside of bhw, and the person suggested Escaroo. And this is the first time I've heard of them. As a result, I'm wondering if anyone has used them.

You did not break any rules but ecrow.com is a solid legitimate platform for the kind of transaction you want to make.

I do not know the owner but I know the platform and it is solid.

The one you are asking about is an hour and a half old.

I don't see any bright reason to not trust this website but there is nothing that makes you trust as well. I would personally pass on that site.

- a decentralized escrow platform could be much cheaper than Escrow.com
- a decentralized escrow platform wouldn't actually hold your money, your money would be held on the blockchain
- a decentralized escrow platform would let you make long term (tens of years) contracts without worrying unlike Escrow.com which has a physical database and technically can be taken down any time
- a decentralized escrow platform would let you trade any form of goods and services (if you know what I mean )

and other advantages that one can think of

And a history that does not have any real history as to them being safe to handle your financial transaction.

Most of us would not use an escrow service for a small amount so there has to be a level of trust.

I'll stand by escrow.com in this instance.

I cannot disagree. But I'm sure blockchain-powered apps will anyways replace centralized ones in the near future.

Sorry, I meant I second the opinion to use escrow.com because they’re a legit service.

I would never try something new in the midst of closing a transaction.

I would want it aged and to demo it on dummy transactions a few times before relying on it

Haven't heard ESCAROO before. You should use escrow. com.

I've used trustap.com before for escrow payments, a lot more user-friendly than escrow.com
