I made my first payment Oct 6, 2021. So we're effectively 4 months in.

I did get my account falsely disabled (impersonation even though it's me) for 2 weeks in Jan. Latest update is that IG submission will be done on Feb 16. So maybe another week after that.

My contract was for both IG and FB but they asked me for my account and password for self-submission on FB. I was not made aware of this when I signed up.

They won't allow me to drop out and will escalate legal battles if I switch providers. So I'm stuck playing the waiting game.

Communication is lacking. That Telegram in the OP is inactive (see attached). I have his phone number but he rarely responds to texts. He said he'd give me his Discord but that was 2.5 weeks ago. I tried calling him but it would go straight to voicemail.

Not yet. 2 weeks ago he said in 2 weeks. Just got off the call with him and he said he needs another 2 weeks. Next week is the 6 month mark.

it's called scheduling we have a lot of clients and I will openly post a photo of our portal if asked. This person has been banned numerous times and was denied on his first submission. It's taking longer then expected to get him done due to his multiple bans in which we had to accommodate. We take pride in our customer satisfaction, we own a talent management company and have been inactive on the forums due to the elevated increase in previous volume and our current duties. Everyone who has placed an order has been badged besides this user (which we are currently working on resolving) we have been in constant communication with this person despite their claims.

I'm just sharing my authentic experience. I shouldn't have jumped in when there were no vouches. By numerous times he meant 2. I wanted verification because I have a lot of impersonators that'd use my name and pics to scam. Both times I was disabled for impersonation when I'm the real person. I bought something to prevent this exact case from happening but it was not delivered on time so it came at additional costs.

Timeline -
Oct 6, 2021 - 6k paid, 12k contract signed - was told it'd take 1-2 months max but there was no expiration on the contract
Dec 6, 2021 - verification deadline but only 1 article out on Dec 2, 2021
Jan 5, 2022 - filler articles went live with 1 article spelling my name wrong
Jan 6, 2022 - account disabled for impersonation
Jan 25, 2022 - account recovered (19 days)
Feb 28, 2022 - account disabled for impersonation
Mar 1, 2022 - account recovered (1 day) - with IG receipt saying IG made a mistake
Mar 3, 2022 - supposedly submitted via media portal
Mar 15, 2022 - denied because i was "disabled numerous times" - offered the fake musician method so i'd be verified as musician instead of entrepreneur - 1-2 weeks max
Mar 29, 2022 - needs 2 more weeks
Apr, 2022 - ???

Facts -
Account was down 20 days out of ~6 months.
Took 3 months to get all the articles out and they are not usable.
Took 5 months for first submission.
Fake musician is a much cheaper method so I way overpaid.

Mistakes -
Signing with no expiration date.
No escrow or middleman.
Not paying more in Oct 2021 to another provider to get it done on time and in the right category.

Will update on how this is resolved - whether it's final delivery mid April or refund.

Was a specific profile verified for the purpose of this review or was just proof of ownership looked into?

I understand it may be near impossible to verify a new account just for this review but Op’s is a relatively new account selling a service well into the 4 figures range. Just one sale would be incentive enough to pay $500 for the marketplace seller account. The lack of a site, business email and no contact other than a gmail isn’t reassuring either.

It's not everyone's cup of tea to verify IG accounts as Entrepreneur specially if you got no organic press - As majority of PR sites are blacklisted by Instagram.

Fake Musician method is the easiest and cheapest way to get verified on IG but keep in mind you can lose your badge in future.
Also the maximum cost of Fake Musician including press shouldn't be more than $6k - You are getting overcharged if anyone ask more than that.

Pro-tip: @annoy To avoid your account from getting disabled for impersonation just keep that name section of your profile empty, Use the bio section instead. Also if your profile picture has a human face - change it to something else and your profile won't get disable ever again.

I did my DD. Actually checked that he did rent an office on the West Coast. The guy running this Black Ice Media even showed up to a local event as a speaker last week. Website was also up at the time - now it's no longer there. He would make public appearances without replying to my texts.

You’re ridiculous I’ve been in constant communication with you regarding the issues. This user had his account disabled numerous times when we had a slot to submit him. We’ve since submitted him and he was denied. The press was not the issue, however I’ll discuss the possibility of a refund offsite. You can add us to any list that you’d like, but we’ve successfully verified 40+ accounts. You also have an offsite service agreement in which the terms have still not been met. After two submissions you will be refunded. We’ve already discussed verifying you as a musician and haven’t been able to get in contact with you in weeks.
