Discovered - currently not indexed

If you have checked the basics like your robots.txt, noindex meta tag, etc and it is a new domain then you could simply wait. Many of my posts were once in Discovered, currently not indexed and Crawled, currently not indexed but they got automatically got indexed after 4-5 months. On the flip side you can also try indexing services here on the forum. Don't worry if everything is alright they would get indexed sooner or later. Just keep posting decent quality posts.

Google found this page but hasn’t indexed it yet. You have to wait for Google to index this page . = Reason for discovered – currently not indexed page excluded according to Google Search Console’s coverage report .

Hey OP!
Google Console is your friend, not your enemy. Don't panic just because something has been excluded from indexing. Read the reason for this to happen. Very often Google just excludes your drafts (yeah they have URLs too) or multiple versions of the same URL. To dive in on this topic, please read more about canonical and non-canonical URLs.

I've noticed this happens when the pages that are being indexed are either cannibalizing or similar to other key words you rank for. Google doesn't make it a priority. But then try and index a new topic and it goes through quickly.

Wym by cannibalising ?

Say you have a page that talks about the best red widgets that is already indexed, and then you put out a new post talking about best red widgets for dogs. I've seen google hesitate in GSC to index pages quickly that are similar in topic to ones you have on your site already. I even uploaded a post that Google was giving the discovered but not indexed message to another website to see if google would index it quickly and they did, since no red widgets posts existed for that site.

Try and put the links to the pages on the home page, or all over your site so good can see they are important. Try and throw some backlinks at those pages as well.
